How we ranked
This ranking is the spa theme's own order, separate from Tripplo's general luxury list for Mallorca. It rests on three parts: the guest score from Booking and Google, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it, so a score from a few dozen reviews is pulled toward the island's average while one from thousands stands on its own (55 percent); verified criteria for this theme — spa, indoor pool, sauna/steam, hydrotherapy, signature treatments, spa praised in reviews and adults-only spa — worth 30 percent, where a criterion we could not confirm is left out rather than counted as a no; and the hotel's star class (15 percent). A four-star hotel with more confirmed spa criteria can therefore outrank a five-star with fewer of them confirmed.
Where in Mallorca are the best spa hotels?
Palma's old town carries the largest cluster: Palma (El Llorenç, Can Bordoy, Es Príncep, Castillo Hotel Son Vida) covers everything from rooftop hydrotherapy pools to a subterranean thermal circuit, all within the historic centre or its immediate hillside. On the north coast, Playa de Muro (Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa, Iberostar Albufera Playa) pairs beachfront positions with spa facilities built for longer stays, while Port de Sóller (Jumeirah Port Sóller) has the island's most dramatic cliff-top spa setting.
Inland and along the quieter coast, Pollença (Son Brull) and Artá (Es Racó d'Artà) hold the rural, countryside-style spa estates, one of them built around a natural hot spring. Canyamel (Can Simoneta), Santanyí (Can Ferrereta) and Santa Ponsa (Pure Salt Port Adriano) round out the south and southwest with smaller, adults-only spa hotels near the coast.
