What Guests Loved
- Almaq, the rooftop terrace, offers panoramic views over the Bay of Palma and the ancient city walls, serving as a tranquil spot for daytime sunbathing and evening cocktails.
- Situated in the historic Calatrava neighborhood, the hotel provides immediate access to Palma's quiet cobbled streets while remaining just steps from the waterfront promenade.
Things to Consider
- Due to the historic architecture of the surrounding Calatrava district, some lower-level rooms face narrow streets and receive less direct sunlight. Guests desiring brighter spaces should book upper-floor categories.
- The rooftop plunge pool is designed for cooling off rather than swimming laps. For a more active swim, guests can utilize the larger indoor pool located in the subterranean spa.

Reviews from Google“My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful six-night stay at Es Príncep Hotel in Palma, and I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of it. The standout feature of this hotel, by a considerable margin, is the staff. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team was warm, friendly, genuinely welcoming and incredibly attentive. You never felt like just another room number – every interaction felt sincere. They greeted us by name, welcomed us back every evening after a day out exploring, and made us feel as though they genuinely cared about making our holiday special. The location is also fantastic. It’s perfectly positioned just a short stroll from Palma’s beautiful old town, making it incredibly easy to explore everything the city has to offer while still enjoying a peaceful, luxurious retreat. The team also shared some fantastic recommendations for beaches, bars and the perfect place to watch the Spain vs Portugal match, all of which turned out to be spot on. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Breakfast was exceptional every morning, offering a truly outstanding selection of fresh, high-quality food. A special mention has to go to the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was absolutely delicious and quickly became part of our morning ritual. The rooftop pool and bar deserve a special mention too. It’s an incredible place to spend an evening with a cocktail or dinner while watching the sun set over Palma. The views, atmosphere and service made it one of our favourite spots in the hotel. Another nice surprise was the Le Labo toiletries in the room. I’ll admit I’d never heard of the brand before, but my wife was quick to educate me! Safe to say I became a fan over the course of the week! One thing that really stood out to me personally was how they handled my nut allergy. I mentioned it once at the beginning of our stay, and that information was clearly communicated throughout the hotel. I never had to mention it again. It certainly didn’t go unnoticed and provided exactly the kind of reassurance and peace of mind that anyone with allergies hopes for when travelling. It was a small detail that made a huge difference. It’s these thoughtful touches, combined with truly outstanding hospitality, that made our holiday so memorable. Luxury hotels can offer beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities, but it’s the people who make you want to return, and the team at Es Príncep did exactly that. After six nights, we left feeling less like guests and more like people the team genuinely cared about. Thank you to everyone at Es Príncep for making our stay so special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma, and without a doubt, we’ll be back.”
“Stopped for two days in Palma, Mallorca before heading to Rafa Nadal Academy, and it was a PERFECT stay. 5 star service from EVERY employee, truly special. Luxury linens, beautiful rooms, spectacular rooftop bar and delicious breakfast. Perfect location to walk & explore. I am a seasoned traveler, and give this my highest recommendation. Thank you everyone for making our stay so very special!”
“My son and I spent eight days in this outstanding hotel in the old historic city of Palma de Mallorca. Without exaggeration, this is one of the best hotels we have ever spent out vacation in. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the entire hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The rooftop bar on the 5th floor is simply unbeatable. However, the excellent service provided by the staff in all areas of the hotel deserves special mention. We encountered only friendly and very helpful people who fulfilled our every wish. Special thanks goes to the front desk staff.”
“Dear Bar Team, Yesterday, on May 11th, six girls from Potsdam, Germany visited your beautiful venue around 4:00 PM — and we honestly had the most wonderful time. The location is absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect for our birthday girl, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. But most importantly, your service was truly outstanding from the very first reservation phone call to our last drink at 11:30 PM. Everything was simply perfect — friendly, attentive, welcoming, thoughtful, and charming. A very special thank you to Juan — truly, thank you — and also to Hugo and the entire team for making our day and evening so memorable. Warm regards, The 5 Girls and Christine from Potsdam, Germany”
“This hotel was incredible. Best hospitality experience I’ve ever had. Service was on point. Location of the hotel is perfect for the beach and old town exploration. The spa and rooftop are two incredible features. Would 100% recommend and return.”
