St. Regis Mardavall was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and pampered the moment we arrived. The setting was gorgeous, with beautiful views and peaceful corners to relax in. The kids club was a real highlight, giving the children a fun, safe space where they were entertained for hours. The team there was warm, attentive, and full of creative activities that kept both kids happily engaged. Thanks to the kids club, we enjoyed rare, unrushed time by the pool and over drinks, knowing they were in great hands. Every detail, from service to atmosphere, made the whole day feel effortlessly special. We left already talking about when we could come back, because it truly felt like a perfect family. The service from Sofain was above and beyond and we cannot wait to come back!

The St. Regis Mallorca charges true luxury prices, but unfortunately delivers very little of what luxury hospitality is supposed to be. Luxury is about attention to detail, anticipation, and service. Sadly, that was missing throughout our stay. At breakfast, the service was virtually non-existent. Staff were difficult to communicate with in English, no one proactively offered assistance, and while we were struggling with plates and a young child, not a single person came to help. Everything that was supposed to be served hot arrived cold. After breakfast, we sat by the pool at around 10:00 a.m., with temperatures already close to 30°C. Despite waiting for quite some time, nobody came to ask whether we would like a drink or even offer us water. When I eventually walked over to ask for a bottle of water, I was told that pool service had not started yet. At a hotel of this category, that is simply unacceptable. Safety also seemed to be overlooked. I noticed a nail lying on the ground near the restaurant and informed a member of staff, pointing out that there were many small children around and that one could easily pick it up and put it in their mouth. She thanked me, but when I walked past again an hour later, the nail was still there. Finally, the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. We could hear every cry from the baby in the room next door as if they were inside our own room. None of us slept properly, including our child. The property itself is beautiful, but beautiful surroundings alone are not enough. A St. Regis should be defined by exceptional, attentive service. Unfortunately, this hotel falls far short of the standards its prices and brand promise set.

I’m sorry but to even consider this a 5 star hotel is a complete joke. This place is old, dingy, outdated, and in my opinion should be a 4 star hotel at best. The best part is the various saunas, but the locker room facilities and lobby entrance to the spa is far from inviting. The entrance to the hotel lobby is also underwhelming and the rooms are so outdated and the lighting system and air needs to be more user friendly. Restaurants are nice and pool grounds are beautiful, but I wouldn’t ever recommend staying here. I’m actually disappointed to come all the way from southern cal for this, but I’m hoping the four seasons doesn’t disappoint on the tail end of my trip:

Very glad to have stayed here. Peaceful setting located in front of a tranquil cove with great hiking route, spacious room, great dining options, and intimate services. The lush garden is also a much-appreciated feature of this resort too. The only downside is that the restaurant by the see closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is a shame because their Jamaican Jerk Chicken is phenomenal.

Today, July 8, 2026 we waited in the lobby bar for about 15-20 minutes, but no one came to serve us. There was no bartender at the bar either. Just as we were about to leave, a bartender finally appeared and insisted that he had been at the counter the whole time. That was simply not true—we had been waiting there the entire time, and the bar was unattended. We decided to let it go and asked for the menu. We already knew exactly what we wanted to order, but while we were speaking to him, he turned around and started walking away before we had even finished talking. At that point, our patience ran out, and we left without ordering anything. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed what we had heard before arriving that the service here is far from the standard expected from a luxury hotel. We will not be returning. we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for truly five-star service.
