In short: Sixteen verified all-inclusive hotels in Gran Canaria, ranked against the terms the hotels publish themselves. Seaside Palm Beach for premium drinks and champagne by the glass, the Riu hotels for round-the-clock service, the Gloria Palace hotels for the most detailed terms. Several of the island's best-known luxury hotels do not sell all-inclusive at all, and they are listed with the reason.
Gran Canaria's all-inclusive offering looks larger than it is. Several of the island's best-known luxury hotels do not sell the concept at all, and among those that do, the terms diverge: one serves around the clock, another from eleven to eleven, and a third calls its package premium while charging for à la carte. We have read the hotels' own concept pages, noted the exact wording and the date we checked, and counted the guest reviews.
This time we started outside our own database: we screened Booking's full list of four- and five-star hotels on Gran Canaria that sell all-inclusive, and added the strongest candidates we were missing. Sixteen hotels meet three conditions at once: at least 8.5 on Booking from at least 100 reviews, four or five stars, and an all-inclusive concept we could verify. The threshold is lower than in our Turkish and Greek lists for a simple reason: Gran Canaria's all-inclusive field sits lower. Only two of the hotels reach 9.0 on Booking.
How we ranked the hotels
This ranking belongs to the theme and is separate from the general luxury order on the destination page. It rests on three parts. The guest rating on Booking and Google counts 55 per cent, weighted by how many reviews sit behind it, so a score from a handful of guests is pulled towards the island average. Verified concept facts count 30 per cent: is all-inclusive sold at all, is à la carte included, are premium drinks included, is there a stated ultra or premium tier, is food or drink available around the clock within the package, and do guests praise the food in our own review analyses. Star class counts 15 per cent.
Unconfirmed facts receive a small share of the points for a confirmed yes; a confirmed no earns no points. Coverage shows how much of the criteria could be substantiated. The score is used for sorting and is not shown as a guest rating.
Two things are worth knowing about the ratings here. Gran Canaria's hotels score consistently lower on Google than on Booking, and that gap feeds through into the guest score. And the hotels we added most recently have a narrower review base in our own analyses, because those analyses rest on reviews we harvest ourselves.
Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés or Puerto Rico — where should you stay?
Maspalomas and Meloneras (Seaside Palm Beach, H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons, Riu Gran Canaria) sit by the dunes and the island's widest beach, with golf courses and a quieter promenade. It is the most expensive part of the south and the one with the most five-star hotels.
Playa del Inglés (Riu Palace Palmeras, Seaside Sandy Beach, Barceló Margaritas Royal Level, HL Suitehotel, MUR Neptuno) is the busiest area on the island, built around the Yumbo Centre with its bars, shops and nightlife. It holds the most adults-only hotels and the shortest walks between hotel and restaurant.
San Agustín and Bahía Feliz (Paradisus, Don Gregory, Gloria Palace San Agustín, Grupotel Orquidea) lie east of Playa del Inglés, closer to the airport and windier. The beaches are smaller and darker in colour, and the atmosphere is calmer.
Puerto Rico, Amadores and Mogán (Servatur Puerto Azul, Gloria Palace Amadores) sit furthest south-west, on cliffs above small bays. This is the sunniest corner of the island and the steepest to walk, and the airport is 45 to 60 minutes away.
Hotels we reviewed but left out
Several of Gran Canaria's best-known hotels are missing from the list, and the reason is nearly always the same: they do not sell all-inclusive.
- Lopesan Costa Meloneras, Villa del Conde and Baobab — Lopesan's three large resorts in Meloneras run half-board concepts. They belong in our luxury selection, but not in this list.
- Riu Palace Maspalomas — Booking 9.1 from 1,520 reviews, the island's strongest adults-only hotel in our database. Unlike Riu Palace Palmeras it is not sold as all-inclusive.
- Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa — Booking 9.4, the highest score among the island's adults-only hotels. It publishes no all-inclusive board basis, and Booking's all-inclusive filter does not list it.
- Santa Catalina, Bohemia Suites & Spa and Grand Hotel Residencia — the island's three most lavish houses sell breakfast or half board. Grand Hotel Residencia also has only 63 Booking reviews, well under our threshold of 100.
- Cordial Mogán Playa, Hotel Faro, Corallium Beach and Bull Vital Suites — all above 8.5 on Booking, but none of them publishes an all-inclusive concept on its own site.
A hotel missing from the list is not a hotel we think poorly of. It is one that either does not sell all-inclusive or sits below our rating or review threshold.

Seaside Palm Beach sits a hundred metres from the beach at Maspalomas, beside the dunes and a palm grove, with retro interiors by Alberto Pinto and a spa with a heated saltwater pool.
All Inclusive Premium covers meals, the minibar and a premium beverage package with wine and French champagne by the glass. On the other hand: the à la carte dinner is only included on stays of seven nights or more, and dinner carries a dress code.
Champagne by the glass is served after noon. Premium covers selected drinks during opening hours; Exclusive Beverage Selection items are discounted, not freely included.

The hotel markets Destination Inclusive excursions off the property. What is covered in food and drink beyond the meals is not written on the site.
Why this rank: The second-highest Booking score among the verified hotels and a five-star all-inclusive concept from Meliá's own pages. The hotel publishes no terms for à la carte or drinks, which holds the coverage down.

Don Gregory by Dunas is an adults-only hotel (16+) right on the beach in San Agustín, with an infinity pool, pools heated through the winter and a spa.
All Inclusive Select covers buffet meals and à la carte lunch at Greg’s Bar from 12:30 to 17:45. Selected national and international branded drinks bearing the AI symbol are included; the whole drinks list is not covered. The package runs from 14:00 on arrival day until 12:00 on departure day.
The summer 2026 and winter 2026/27 fact sheets specify one lunch or dinner per week at Las Burras Beachouse from four nights on all-inclusive: a set menu with selected drinks, booking the previous day and subject to availability. Dunas’ general AI page instead says seven nights, so confirm the condition for your booking. One spa entry per person per stay is included from seven nights. The summer sheet gives Greg’s Bar hours as 10:30–24:00; the winter sheet says 10:00–23:45 but also states that package drinks are available until 24:00. Check the winter closing time locally. This is not round-the-clock service.
Why this rank: All Inclusive Select has published terms for à la carte lunch and selected international branded drinks. All nine food mentions in our analyses are positive. Service has fixed hours, and the Las Burras meal has specific stay conditions.

H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons Collection sits on the seafront in Meloneras with an infinity pool, a chill-out terrace and the Despacio Spa.
All-inclusive covers branded drinks, cocktails and snacks, and a buffet dinner can be swapped for à la carte at La Brasserie, Il Trastevere or Sakura for every seven nights, booked in advance.
The dinner exchange requires advance booking and availability. Sakura admits guests aged 12 and over; extra à la carte visits are discounted, not unlimited.
Why this rank: Both premium drinks and à la carte confirmed from the hotel's own site, and 21 of 22 food mentions in our analyses are positive. The buffet-for-à la carte swap applies once per seven nights.

Hotel Riu Gran Canaria sits directly on the beach in Maspalomas with six pools, one of them an adults-only infinity pool, a spa and RIU Land for children.
The concept is 24-hour all-inclusive, and the hotel's own site lists both buffet and à la carte restaurants inside the package. It is a big, lively resort with RIU Party and entertainment every evening.
Why this rank: Riu confirms snacks and drinks around the clock and à la carte within the package. Our own review base for the hotel is still empty, so the guest score rests on Booking and Google.

Why this rank: The hotel publishes the whole package with opening times, which is unusually clear, but eleven to eleven leaves the night outside. All seven food mentions in our analyses are positive.

Bull Costa Canaria & Spa is an adults-only hotel in San Agustín, steps from the beach and the promenade.
The hotel’s own site says Don Miguel, serving à la carte dishes by the pool, and Don Pepe pizzeria are included at no extra charge for all-inclusive guests. These are two different dining venues; this does not mean two unlimited à la carte dinners. The reviewed pages do not specify reservation requirements, opening hours or visit allowances.
Why this rank: The spa is included even on half board, and the hotel includes Don Miguel and Don Pepe pizzeria for all-inclusive guests. All six food mentions in our analyses are positive, although its Booking review sample is smaller than several others in the selection.
