The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- The resort features six heated pools integrated into 76,000 square meters of tropical gardens. This layout provides diverse environments ranging from quiet corners for relaxation to social areas, all maintained at comfortable temperatures year-round.
- The Corallium Spa offers a structured wellness journey including salt caves and ice fountains. Its design incorporates volcanic materials and local aesthetic elements, focusing on a technical approach to relaxation and physical recovery.
Things to Consider
- Due to its scale and over 1,000 rooms, the property can feel busy during breakfast hours and at the main reception. Travelers seeking a secluded or intimate boutique atmosphere may find the communal spaces quite active.
- While the hotel offers several amenities, access to the specialized hydrotherapy circuit is typically an additional charge. Guests should review their booking package to understand which specific wellness facilities are included in their stay.

Reviews from Google“This resort is amazing. Stayed there for a week and it was one of our best family holiday. Staff are really friendly and helpful, the service is really good, the rooms are clean and the food is excellent. The animation team are brilliant especially Jasmine and Gabriela. Special thanks to Edwardo and Margaret on the reception desk who were very helpful and all the hard working staff. The house keepers are immaculate. Will definitely visit again.”
“We only booked for two nights as the hotel is quite pricey, but that's what 5 Stars in high season cost. Anyways, we enjoyed the short stay very much. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfy, the premises are huge so prepare for long walks if you forget something in your room. ;) We have treated ourselves to the UNIQUE upgrade and it was well worth the extra cost as we got to enjoy a private pool a bit away from the noisy main pool (which is amazing by the way - just too busy with all the activities and kids). But we were quite surprised that eventhough the building has around 1000 rooms, the place never felt crowded, there were no long lines for dinner. We tried the El Churrasco restaurant the first evening which was a bit underwhelming for the price tag (butter tasted stretched with margarine, the sides were disappointing -chips were soggy, the veg quite bland). The second evening we tried the buffet restaurant Alameda which, given the huge number of guests to feed, presented a rich variety of choices at an acceptable quality. Of course one can not expect the same finesse as in an ala carte restaurant, but the food was good and the service personnel friendly and helpful. Apart from one grumpy receptionist we had only experienced very friendly and welcoming staff. All in all a pleasant experience.”
“I can honestly say that the experience we had here was great. The multiple pools, the amazing breakfast choice. We had a little trouble falling asleep due to the night life noise, but everything else was exceptional. There are concerts in the pool yard in the evenings, so it's a nice timeout after a long day sightseeing. The pool area is filled with great tropical plants and restaurants, and if you don't feel like sitting at a pool, there is the amazing beach, just east of the hotel. We discovered it only after a week ;), but you should definitely try it out! Overall, good experience that we'll remember.”
“Beautiful hotel, and huge! Did get lost finding our room on the first night :-) We booked a Unique room that gave us added extras, which I think it was worth it for us. Breakfast in the morning is fab, plenty of cold stuff to choose from, as well as a hot menu. Large outdoor pools to choose from, as well as bars. Beach front views and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. If you’re wanting nightclubs, then I am sure it’s an easy taxi ride to Playa del ingles. We enjoyed the spa area and got to relax on a 4hr package.”
“It is the second time we stayed at Lopesan Costa Meloneras in 9 months and we said to each other we go home temporarily! We will return for sure, for us 100% relaxation from the minute we arrived. Our suite was overwhelming, cleaned every day and the interior specialist do always greet you. The food is great and always fresh, the different themes from snack to fish and Italian to local taste are cooked fresh behind the buffet. A special remark is that there is a lot of vegetarian food!!! The service in the restaurants is so nice and polite. The gym is more than super and the gardens and pool more than super. Clean, warm and spacey. There are enough beds and no issues with towels at all. This is arranged so nicely. We visited Cafe Del Mar nearly every night for the best cocktails in town! Keep up the good work, we will return! We are Fan!”
