“This is a lovely adult only hotel. It was peaceful, picturesque and calm - just what I was looking for. The room was great, the air con was quiet - plenty of room to put your clothes. I was on the ground floor which had x2 sun loungers and table and chairs, perfect to sit out on in the mornings. The hotel was clean and rooms got cleaned daily. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was great, even for those that are vertically challenged like myself lol there were some shallow parts which meant you could chill and relax for hours in the pool. The night time entertainment had some very talented musicians and it was a pleasure to sit by the pool and enjoy at night. Great experience and I would definitely recommend.”

“We arrived earlier than the official check-in time of 14:00, and of course the room was not ready, which is understandable. However, we were told to go outside and that they would call us once the room was ready. We returned at 14:00, and the receptionist informed us that it might even take until 16:00. Once again, we were told to “go outside and wait” and that they would call us. Instead, I had to sit in the lobby for an hour with my ill partner while they prepared the room. This is simply unacceptable, especially when the hotel charges 10€ per hour for late check-out. The reception staff are also quite defensive and unhelpful. They often did not answer phone calls, and sometimes even rejected them. It felt like guest satisfaction is clearly not their priority. A more professional and service-oriented attitude would be expected from a hotel in this category. The room looks like it belongs to an old building with worn-out and outdated equipment. The walls are dirty and clearly need repainting. The bathroom is poorly maintained, and even the toilet seat has yellow stains 😕 (see pictures). Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance standards are far below what you would expect from even an average low-end hotel. The room is extremely noisy and not soundproof at all. Even with the windows fully closed, street noise makes it very difficult to sleep. Another unpleasant surprise: the hotel recommends placing valuables in the safe and does not take responsibility in case of a break-in, yet using the safe costs an additional 2€ per day 😐. I have never seen a hotel charge extra for the use of an in-room safe. Regarding the food: despite some older reviews praising the quality, we found it to be very average — a standard all-you-can-eat buffet without anything special. You pay for a 4-star hotel but receive the quality of a cheap hostel. A very disappointing start to our stay in beautiful Gran Canaria.”

“The hotel was great. Everything was clean, the all-inclusive package was good, and the food was delicious. Direct access to the ocean. I’d definitely recommend it. But what was absolutely outstanding was AYMAN, the on-site health coach. He’s just a legendary guy. Thanks to him, I was able to gain 9 kg of muscle in just one week. :D He also rescued a cat, two dogs, and nine penguins. If you could give more than 5 stars, I’d give them to Ayman.”

“Very good food and interesting menu with different themes every evening. Excellent service in the Food Garden. Could be better information about allergens in the food, for example nuts, as there is a slight language barrier when asking the chefs. Good with different activities and we really like the different music performances each evening. Relaxing atmosphere around the pool and good that there is a bar connected to the area. And a gold star to house cleaning for taking excellent care of our rooms and even taking up the fight with my weighted blanket. Thank you all for making this stay a wonderful experience! “Check in was simple, room is ample and well equipped with a huge bed, facilities pretty good, shower does need a bit of fine tuning, location is great, pool is warm although while we were here it was bank holiday, so gets very busy. Pool bar is nice with drinks on tap( still water as well). Good selection of food, staff are really attentive. Small gym on site which is normal for a hotel. Overall we had a brilliant stay.”
