We had a very pleasant stay at Universal Grand León & Spa Mallorca and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is exactly as pictured—modern, elegant, and well maintained. Although it’s not adults-only, the atmosphere stayed calm and peaceful throughout our stay. There’s no private beach, but the seaside terrace with direct access to the clear Mediterranean is a real highlight for swimming and relaxing. The location is quiet rather than lively, with a few good restaurants within walking distance and a nearby marina that’s great for an easy evening stroll or dinner. Service was generally good but a bit inconsistent, for non-spanish speaker like us. We’d especially like to thank the man who assisted us at check-out—his friendliness and professionalism left a great final impression. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing hotel that we would happily recommend for a peaceful stay in Mallorca.

Really wonderful hotel, three nights here provided an amazing opportunity to relax. Wonderful area by the pool and fantastic seaview restaurant. Very welcoming staff and lovely clean rooms. Short walk to a small town with great restaurants, although you're well provided for at the hotel. Nearby is the iberostar where we also considered staying, which has a great rooftop bar worth visiting, but overall very glad that we stayed at the Grand Leon because the overall atmosphere and space to unwind was perfect. Particularly appreciated the last day, where we had a late flight but were given the opportunity to relax by the pool for the afternoon and then use the courtesy room to change and shower before we left for the airport. Would recommend to anyone and would be delighted to return.

The best part of the hotel was definitely the housekeeping staff: super friendly, very attentive, and the cleanliness of both the room and the daily service was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, with good quality food, and the restaurant staff were always nice and attentive. Overall, the hotel is fine for a 4-star hotel, but personally I wouldn’t consider it a 5-star experience, especially because of some important details. The beds are quite small for couples (140 cm), or they are separated, and they move because they have wheels, which was pretty uncomfortable. We also used the spa during the first two days, but on the third day we saw a cockroach in the sauna, so we haven’t gone back since. The spa area in general also feels quite worn out. Our arrival experience wasn’t the best either: the reception staff on Tuesday afternoon felt quite cold and unwelcoming. We come to Mallorca quite often and recently discovered this area of the island, which we really like, so we were hoping to find a hotel we could return to regularly. There are several similar options nearby with better value for money. Also, we booked directly through the hotel expecting some kind of added value or benefit, but there really wasn’t any advantage compared to booking through Booking.com. In hindsight, it would have been better to book there instead and at least earn points/rewards. In general, it’s not a bad hotel, but personally I wouldn’t come back.

This is something I have never seen in a 5 star hotel. To buy 7 nights months ago, as a family of 2 adults and 2 children and to arrive here and find ourselves staying in two rooms in two different buildings, it is hard to understand why. I wonder if anyone in the management of this hotel has children? What is it like when they go on vacation? The children stay in other buildings and accept this? Shameful and apologies are worthless, the first impression counts, and as a first impression, it is that you made fun of us. Now we are packing an intermediate luggage, to move for one night all the necessities for a child, clothes and all the necessities for personal hygiene, just for some excuses. This is something unacceptable at this level and I would not like to think that it was done intentionally. Otherwise it can be considered a good hotel, but be very careful when booking for families with children, they don't seem to understand the concept of family.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my husband. The facilities were nice and the staff were brilliant too. Whilst breakfast was good and had a lovely spread - I do think it was often lukewarm. We arrived at different times of the day for breakfast each day but found it to be the same. It's a hotel with a wonderful interior but not quite 5 star just yet. I'd say its an excellent 4 star hotel.
