In short: Consider booking Amavi, MadeForTwo Hotels - Paphos for its unobstructed sea views, Ivi Mare - Designed for Adults by Louis Hotels for direct beachfront access, or St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort for its extensive dine-around culinary program.
Paphos is Cyprus's calmest corner — UNESCO-listed excavations, a harbour promenade without Ayia Napa's tempo, and a coastline where adults-only hotels cluster more densely than anywhere else on the island. For couples who want Mediterranean warmth without the volume of kids' clubs, it's the island's obvious address.
We checked every hotel's adults policy directly against their official websites. To qualify, a hotel needs a verified adults-only policy, at least four stars and a Booking guest score of at least 9.0. Here are the six adults-only hotels we selected in Paphos.
The numbers beside each hotel are counted from real guest reviews (Booking + Google) — never estimated.
How we ranked the hotels
The order rests on Booking and Google guest scores, the counted themes from our review analyses, and the officially verified age limits. Where a hotel publishes no exact limit we leave the cell empty rather than repeat tour operators' figures. Below each hotel we explain its placement.
Where in Paphos should you stay?
Kato Paphos (Leonardo Plaza, M Boutique, Amavi) is the seafront town centre — the harbour, the tavernas and the Roman mosaics are all walkable, and you can manage without a hire car. Geroskipou just east of the centre (Ivi Mare) gives beachfront with quieter evenings but needs a taxi or bus into the harbour. Chlorakas north of town (St George) sits on the clifftop with sea views — beautiful, but plan for transport. Coral Bay furthest north (Cali) has the area's best sandy beach and its own small centre, about 20 minutes from Paphos harbour.
From Paphos airport (PFO) it's 15–20 minutes to Kato Paphos and around 30 minutes to Coral Bay. If you want to manage entirely without a car, M Boutique and Leonardo Plaza are the strongest picks.
We analysed the 169 most recently available guest reviews (Booking + Google) across the 6 hotels below — every figure is counted, never estimated. Reviews harvested August 2026. How we count mentions.

1Paphos, Cyprus
Food & restaurants: 12 of 12 mentions positive · Service & staff: 12 of 13 mentions positive
Amavi tops the list with 9.5 on Booking and 4.8 on Google – a five-star hotel that is not only adults-only but built exclusively for couples over 18.
The hotel is located directly on a Blue Flag-certified beach on Poseidonos Avenue, with unobstructed views of the medieval castle and the old harbour. All rooms face the Mediterranean, so the sunset can be seen from your own balcony.
The concept permeates everything: sunbeds for two by the pool, spa treatments booked as a couple, and four restaurants included in the half-board option. It is Cyprus's first purpose-built couples' hotel – and it shows in the details.
Why this rank: The list's strongest score combination (9.5 on Booking, 4.8 on Google) and a flawless food harvest — 12 of 12 counted food mentions are positive. A clear number one.
2Paphos, Cyprus
Service & staff: 24 of 24 mentions positive · Condition & cleanliness: 16 of 16 mentions positive
Ivi Mare reaches 9.4 on Booking and 4.8 on Google, and is run by Louis Hotels, which has several adults-only hotels in the city.
The hotel is located on the beach in Yeroskipou just east of Paphos centre, with direct access to the Mediterranean and an outdoor pool open all year round.
Here you will find three separate restaurants and plenty of space by the pools – a convenient choice if you want a resort feel without compromising on the child-free atmosphere.
Why this rank: The same Google score as our number one (4.8) and 24 of 24 counted service mentions positive — but a slightly lower Booking score puts it second.
3Paphos, Cyprus
Service & staff: 22 of 24 mentions positive · Food & restaurants: 9 of 12 mentions positive
Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris has 9.3 on Booking – and behind that rating lie over 4,000 reviews, by far the most on this list.
The hotel accepts guests from 16 years of age and is located on a sandy beach just under two kilometres from Paphos, surrounded by 6,000 square metres of gardens separating the rooms from the beach.
Four restaurants, a large pool, a spa, and two tennis courts make it the most complete resort on the list for those who want activities within the hotel grounds.
Why this rank: The adults-only hotel with the strongest location of all — 7 of 7 counted location mentions positive, steps from the beach in Kato Paphos. Four stars, and two guests found complaint handling dismissive.
4Paphos, Cyprus
Food & restaurants: 20 of 22 mentions positive · Service & staff: 18 of 18 mentions positive
St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort stands at 9.2 and offers premium all-inclusive for guests from 16 years of age.
What sets the hotel apart from the crowd is its dine-around concept: six à la carte restaurants, a patisserie café, and five bars are included in the price – an unusually broad offering for an all-inclusive hotel.
Its location in Chlorakas, north of Paphos, offers a quieter stretch of beach than the city centre, with spa and wellness as a clear focus.
Why this rank: Premium all-inclusive with dine-around and assigned sunbeds for your whole stay — 20 of 22 counted food mentions positive. The 16+ limit makes it the list's most flexible adults choice.
5Paphos, Cyprus
Service & staff: 20 of 21 mentions positive · Pools, beach & aquapark: 14 of 16 mentions positive
Cali Resort & Spa also reaches 9.2 on Booking and has an impressive 4.8 on Google – Louis Hotels' second adults-only hotel on the list.
The hotel is located on Coral Bay Avenue a little north of the centre, and focuses on clean, minimalist architecture rather than a traditional resort style.
An indoor pool, sauna, gym, and spa make it a great option even outside the peak season, and breakfast is a recurring highlight in guest reviews.
Why this rank: Five stars with 20 of 21 counted service mentions positive and Coral Bay's beach five minutes away — but the Japanese restaurant's price-to-quality draws recurring criticism.
6Paphos, Cyprus
Condition & cleanliness: 26 of 26 mentions positive · The rooms: 17 of 17 mentions positive
M Boutique Hotel completes the list with 9.1 on Booking, based on over 2,000 reviews.
The hotel is located inside Kato Paphos, a few blocks from the sea – the most centrally located choice on the list, with restaurants and the archaeological site within walking distance.
It is a smaller, five-star boutique hotel with a spa and sauna, and the kitchen highlights Cypriot ingredients in its breakfast. Best suited for those who would rather stay in the heart of the city than at a beach resort.
Why this rank: The list's most fully realised design house: 26 of 26 counted mentions of condition and cleanliness are positive, and the restaurant appears in the Michelin Guide. The 9.1 score is also the list's lowest.
