Santa Cruz and El Arenal for historic atmosphere and proximity to the main sights; Plaza Nueva and Plaza de la Magdalena for easy access to shopping and restaurants; and the Torre Sevilla area if sweeping panoramic views are a priority.
Four to eight months ahead for major holidays and popular long weekends — Semana Santa and the Feria de Abril in particular, when the city fills up exceptionally quickly. Two to three months is generally sufficient at other times of year. For suites, book as early as you possibly can.
