Revier Boutique Hotel Kaprun feels new because it is. The renovated hotel on the Kitzsteinhornstraße has a modern, design-led style, and guests praise the spotless rooms, the balconies with views, the friendly staff and the breakfast. The wellness area has a sauna, a steam room and a hammam, and in summer an outdoor pool. In winter the ski bus stop is a short walk away, the MK Maiskogelbahn is about 1.3 km off, and skiers rate the ski room and boot dryers highly. The modern concept has some gaps. Rooms lack a kettle, minibar and other small comforts, some bathrooms are separated from the bedroom only by a curtain, and the app-based door system confuses some guests. There is no indoor pool, and the restaurant is not cheap. Couples and families who want a clean, contemporary base for skiing or hiking will be happy; those who like classic comforts in the room may prefer a more traditional hotel.
