It sits in the heart of Kaprun, so the gondola, shops and restaurants are all within a few minutes' walk, and the MK Maiskogelbahn is about 750 m away. Guests talk about the warm welcome, the owner's personal touch, the new suites with mountain views and the generous breakfast. Some suites have their own sauna, which skiers love after a day on the Maiskogel or the Kitzsteinhorn, and in summer the included card opens up the region for hiking. The weak points are small. Rooms can get very warm, housekeeping occasionally misses details, and a few guests wanted better TV reception and more pillow choice. Value for money is the area guests rate least well.
