“Excellent hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with every question. The rooms are large and spacious, and the housekeeping service is top-notch. The location is unbeatable—right on Plaza España and Gran Vía, within walking distance of all the main attractions. When the staff realized we were celebrating a birthday, they left balloons, champagne, and a plate of sweets in our room. It was such a lovely surprise to receive! We will definitely stay at this hotel again.”

“We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and the service was amazing! The hotel is so so beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Short walking distance to the palace main attractions and Madrid Main Street but still in a quiet corner. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely will come back if I’m visiting Madrid.”

“Love, love, LOVE this hotel for the location! My boyfriend and I walked almost everywhere during our stay in Madrid. Mercado de San Miguel was only about a 12 min walk away and Gran Vía, Museo del Prado, and the Reina Sofía Museum were all around a 20 min walk which felt like nothing because the city is so beautiful to explore on foot. We actually loved walking because it ended up being the best way to stumble upon amazing tapas bars and hidden gems we never would have found otherwise. The staff here were also super helpful. We only took a taxi once on our first day because we were running late for our timed reservation at Museo del Prado. After that, we walked everywhere! We stayed here for 2 nights and were especially happy because our rental car from Sixt was conveniently located just around the corner from the hotel like literally about a 2 min walk away! Super convenient if you’re planning to explore beyond Madrid like we did. We also had a badass view overlooking the beautiful plaza in front of the hotel such a vibe! The nightly price is very reasonable once you factor in how central and accessible this hotel is to everything. We saved so much time and transportation costs just by being able to walk everywhere. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

“Excellent stay at Barceló Torre de Madrid ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed six nights at Barceló Torre de Madrid and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic, right on Plaza de España, with the metro directly in front of the hotel, easy access to taxis, and many restaurants and cafés nearby. Several major attractions are within walking distance, including Gran Vía, the Royal Palace of Madrid, Almudena Cathedral, and the Temple of Debod. It’s also close to beautiful green areas like Parque del Oeste, Jardines de Sabatini, and Casa de Campo. The hotel is perfect for both business travel (my case) and vacation. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, the breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of variety and healthy options, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with great blackout curtains, a large bathroom, and an excellent shower with strong hot water. The hotel provides quality amenities (soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner) and leaves a complimentary 1-liter bottle of water every day, which is a nice touch. They also do a daytime room refresh, often leaving a thoughtful good-night note on the bed. The staff truly stands out — extremely kind, attentive, and professional. As a lovely gesture at the end of my stay, they even gave me a complimentary snack with cashews and gummy candies as a thank you. It was delivered by Helena, who greeted me almost every morning at breakfast and was always very welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I return to Madrid.”

“We had a fantastic time in Madrid and it all started at this hotel. We arrived pretty early to the city but the staff gave us great advice and locations to visit around the hotel while we waited for the check in. We want to give a HUGE thanks to Lucia at the desk, since day one she was kind and helpful, and make our stay a great experience! We recommend having the breakfast, it has a great variety and gets you ready to enjoy the day. The room was spacious and clean, we loved it. Overall the hotel is in a great location connecting various key places from the city.”
