Travel in the off-season

As with most travel companies, Hurtigruten's prices vary considerably depending on the time of year. Fares tend to peak during the summer months and over the Christmas and New Year period. Opting to travel in the off-season — such as October to November or January to March — can make a significant difference to what you pay, with discounts of up to 25% not uncommon during these quieter periods.
