“⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) We visited Verdura Resort because it is widely regarded as one of the finest golf destinations in Sicily. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. The golf course is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and the entire resort has a nice atmosphere. I would especially like to compliment the staff, who were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. That said, there are a few organizational aspects that could be improved. During our first visit, the main parking area was completely occupied by trucks, making it inaccessible for guests. Unfortunately, there was no signage or guidance indicating where visitors should park instead. I ended up driving around the entire resort before a staff member informed me that I had to park on an unpaved gravel lot. Fortunately, another employee kindly drove me to the clubhouse in a golf cart. While I appreciated the assistance, I would have expected much clearer parking management and signage from a resort of this standard. Our second visit was even more disappointing. We had booked our tee time online and made a long journey to the resort, only to be informed by security at the entrance that access was not possible because of a private event. It would have been greatly appreciated if guests with confirmed reservations had been notified in advance by email or phone, saving us an unnecessary trip. Verdura Resort is a stunning place, and the golf course itself is truly outstanding. With better communication, clearer visitor guidance, and improved organization, the overall experience would fully match the exceptional quality of the resort. I hope these comments are taken as constructive feedback, because the potential is truly world-class.”

“Stunning resort, beautiful location and views. Very nice people. The pool was amazing, so were our rooms. My daughter spent many hours in the pool having fun. They rent out golf carts (may want to reserve those in advance, we were lucky there was one available for us on arrival); and bikes to go between rooms. Check in process (for no fault of the hotel’s) was extremely tedious and tiring, especially in 100 degree F weather - we wanted to get two rooms closer together - our rooms as they had them assigned were 8-10 min walk from each other. Booking.com didn’t indicate that booking different kinds of rooms would imply that the rooms would be housed in different structures, so on arrival we spent an hour (the concierge would have to run back to reception each time to grab a key to another suite to view, and it didn’t seem quick or easy for them to see if there were rooms available side by side - without having to pay an exorbitant fee to upgrade); all in all about an hour to get settled in! That was exhausting but the staff did a great job making up for it throughout our stay. Would definitely come back again, and next time check with reception well in advance to make sure we are getting rooms in the same or adjacent structures. “A Perfect Stay — and an Unforgettable Proposal ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we arrived at Vedura Resort in Sicily, we were embraced with the warmest of welcomes. The resort itself is immaculate — every corner spotless, every detail considered — and the service throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional. We were made to feel truly special at every turn. But what made this trip the most memorable of our lives was the incredible effort that went into making my fiancé's marriage proposal an absolute dream come true. He had been working closely with Angela from the concierge team in the lead-up to our visit, and I cannot express enough how instrumental she was in making the moment perfect. She communicated with him tirelessly, following up on every detail with care, precision, and genuine enthusiasm — nothing was too much trouble. The proposal itself was breathtaking — tucked away privately amongst the olive groves, intimate and utterly romantic. Flickering candles, beautiful flowers, and the most magical fairy lights created a setting that felt like something out of a film. Dinner was served promptly and flawlessly, and every element came together seamlessly. I said yes with tears in my eyes — and a big part of that magic was down to Angela. Angela is, without question, an absolute credit to the Vedura team and a true brand ambassador in every sense of the word. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are exceptional, and she clearly takes enormous pride in creating meaningful experiences for guests. She deserves every recognition going. “If I had to use one word, it would be incredible! This property is so private, with acres of absolutely stunning beauty. The pool is huge, immaculate, and gorgeous. The beach is perfect too—private, with towels, drinks, and food brought right to your chair. There are so many great places to eat, and every meal we had was a 10/10. Breakfast was amazing with endless options. A special thank you to Angela and Gianfranco for making every morning so welcoming. The staff as a whole went above and beyond and were genuinely so kind. We did the spa, went golfing, and loved that there were bikes all over the property to hop on and off whenever you wanted. It’s also super kid-friendly. You hear about people coming back year after year, and now I completely understand why. We can’t wait to come back with our family. I’ll miss this resort until next time. Gracias!”

“Fantastic resort, especially for a golf vacation. Two great 18 hole courses (I prefer East over West as it is more tactical) and great training facilities. Very friendly staff all around. Great rooms and very good restaurants. To me, by far the best golf resort in Europe.”
