“A very elegant place!! Loved the room- very clean and modern. The staff were wonderful. The front desk- Antonio and the day/ night staff were very helpful with questions and recommendations. Each and every one of the restaurant staff were so accommodating. A special mention of Ilena, Giovanna, Rossellini and Nicola. They tried so hard to make our stay special. The wine sommelier was very good also(had glasses)”

“We recently spent 3 nights in a superior room. Hotel has very nice location for visiting city center. Staff seemed very disinterested upon our arrival. Bags dropped off in room without ant instructions (turning off all the lights is pretty complicated without some instructions). Bathroom ok but no electrical plug, and nearest one in room did not work. We were on second floor, crazy amount of street noise all night. Bed comfortable, pillow choices limited. Overall room and 2nd floor in general needs some tlc. Public spaces in lobby are beautiful but don't seem to have any real function. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurant on rooftop deck was excellent. Overall not enough value for the charge.”

The entire team was very friendly, and the hotel itself has a timeless, classy atmosphere that made our experience even more special. The location is perfect- close by to everything. “We're currently ending a 5 night stay here. The hotel is beautiful and dramatic and located near the city center. The service is excellent and the included breakfast is perhaps the best I've ever had in any hotel. The hotel rooms have a modern feel and nice touches like heated towel racks and easy to use individual room thermostats (one of my personal bugaboos is the typical user-hostile baffiling thermostats.) The hotel is expensive, but if you can afford it, it's a great place to stay.”

“We stayed at Hotel Des Palmes for a couple of days during a visit to Sicily, and were glad we did! Location was great — really close to the historic district, service was exceptional, and the room quality was top-notch. We didn't get to enjoy the rooftop restaurant this time, but we stopped by for a peek, and it looked great... next time!”
