Valmar Corfu

“What makes this hotel so special is the staff.Here i learned how important is a simple smile. From the golf-cart shuttles to the beach, to the lift and snacks all day — they thought of everything and were always smiling. Absolutely amazing staff. We had a wonderful week at Valmar in Corfu. The hotel is very clean, everything runs smoothly thanls to the amazing staff. The pools are all really nice. Food was a highlight — main restaurant had so much choice and they change the cuisine each day. We also booked the beach restaurant and the rooftop restaurant once during our stay, both were delicious. Our room was next to a small beautiful church which we loved. And the views? Absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise. Everything was as shown on the website. They have tiny shuttle cars, similar to golf carts, to take you to the upper rooms, plus a lift that goes straight down to the beach where there’s a beach bar and restaurants with all-day snacks. Is a perfect hotel for families with kids and adults without kids, as they have a separate pool for adults only.”

“Just got home from a wonderful week at the Valmar Hotel, which we booked via Jet2 Holidays. What a fantastic hotel. We received a very warm welcome and were greeted with a cool towel, drink and a snack. The check in process was very easy and a very friendly member of staff, Thomas, took our cases to our room. All staff without exception were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, couldn't fault a thing. All the food in the main dining room and the speciality restaurants were of excellent standard. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We spent very pleasant evenings at the roof top bar. Delicious drinks and great entertainment. Would highly recommend this hotel. It was my Husband's birthday while we were there and on returning to our room the Mamagement had left a birthday cake and a lovely bottle of red wine which we really enjoyed. Massive thanks to the management and all the team at the Valmar.”

“I had a wonderful stay at the Valmar hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the facilities exceeded my expectations. The location was lovely and tranquil making the stay really relaxing and calm. On my visit to the hotel I used to spa which was wonderful. All the spa ladies were super friendly and made me feel really comfortable and welcome. The facilities were great! I also enjoyed a back massage with Maria who was amazing! I would recommend both the spa and hotel to anyone looking to travel to Corfu!”

“In all 7/10. Good points are that the staff were wonderful (except grumpy barman at roof bar), rooms are comfortable and modern, hotel is clean, beach is very nice. Bad points are that the quiet pool is really too small for the size of hotel with not enough loungers, the road right outside the hotel is unfortunate (though there is a tunnel to the beach) it does mean sea view rooms have traffic noise and airport transfers are on the road. Food is OK, but could be better and would like to see more local fish on the menu. That said, the Mediterranean beach restaurant was excellent. So on balance the wonderful staff make it, but the hotel has some physical limitations and the buffet food could be better.”
