What Guests Loved

The hotel also offers FIFA-standard football pitches, tennis courts and Carya Golf Club, one of the region's finest golf courses with night play. Whether you're an elite athlete or looking to unwind, everything is here.
- The Ultra All Inclusive model covers ten distinct restaurants, ensuring a variety of culinary styles and atmospheres that cater to different palates throughout a long-term stay.
Things to Consider
- As a large-scale resort with an open-air theater and disco, the property maintains a high level of activity that might not suit travelers looking for a silent retreat.
- Despite the generous all-inclusive concept, certain activities may incur additional charges. Tennis courts, some arcade games, cover charges at certain à la carte restaurants and hotel shops can prove more expensive than expected. Tip: Double-check what's included upon arrival for full control over your budget.

“We had a fantastic stay at Regnum Carya and would happily return. The highlight was the staff. Special thanks to Cetrin and Ibrahim at the pool bar, Akuba at Bamboo Club, and the entire Leo Club team, who were all outstanding and made our holiday memorable. The resort offers excellent facilities, beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, and a huge variety of food. The buffet was impressive, although so large that food could sometimes cool down before getting back to the table. We also felt the wine selection could be improved for a resort of this calibre. A few minor issues included having to make repeated requests for minibar and coffee refills, and some maintenance details that should have been addressed sooner. My biggest criticism is the pricing of some optional extras. €5 arcade games and €100 shisha felt excessive and discouraged us from using them. One suggestion would be to create headphones-only or quiet areas around pools and restaurants. Too many guests played videos and music through device speakers, which detracted from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Overall, an excellent family resort with exceptional staff who are a credit to Regnum Carya. We'd gladly return.”

“After being loyal guests at Regnum Carya for 10 years, we have decided that we will not return. The hotel still has beautiful facilities, but the attitude of some staff members has changed significantly. Instead of making guests feel welcome, certain employees behave as though they are superior to the guests. You are regularly told off for small things, and rules are enforced without any flexibility, understanding or basic courtesy. Unfortunately, we had the same experience with the golf operations at both Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club. The attitude of some staff members, and especially parts of the management, was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. As golf guests, we often felt like a problem rather than valued customers. Communication was poor, requests were handled in a dismissive way, and there was very little willingness to find solutions. Tee-time availability was also disappointing, even though golf is one of the main reasons many guests choose this resort. What is most disappointing is that after 10 years as returning guests, we no longer felt appreciated or respected. A luxury hotel and two well-known golf clubs should understand that hospitality is not only about the facilities, but also about how guests are treated. For us, the unfriendly attitude of staff and management at Regnum Carya, Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club has completely changed the experience. We will not return.”

“We stayed as a group of 14 across 6 rooms, and while parts of the resort are genuinely lovely, the way management handled a series of serious issues has left all 14 of us unable to recommend Regnum Carya. The low point: my group includes a child under 2, who got her leg caught in the revolving door at the front entrance. Despite her mother's visible distress and calls for help, no one from the front desk, lobby, or guest relations came over — we had to force the door open ourselves, and it was only then that a buggy driver came to help. She's okay, but the lack of response from staff in that moment was shocking for a resort at this price point. Separately, an elderly couple in our group lost power in their room for over four hours after it started. When queried, management's response was essentially "we don't know what caused it, so it's not our fault." The same couple had been personally promised, face to face by a senior guest relations manager, that their daughter and grandchildren (arriving a few days later) would have connecting rooms — a request made four months in advance. Instead, the children were placed a floor below their parents, moved without warning while the parents were out, and moved again a day later without notice — three room changes in 24 hours. When raised, we were told the family "should have emailed" the request, until we produced proof it had been confirmed in person. It then took the family's aunt compiling every email and chasing for several days before the hotel finally acknowledged the mistake. We also had issues with the Al a carte experience where the restaurant and the hotel tried to blame us for ordering when we hadn't ordered and had menus infront of us. Really rude and poorly managed. No one would simply say "we got this wrong" — one of our party ended up in a two-hour conversation where staff tried to explain restaurant ordering procedure back to us instead of addressing what actually happened. We took this specific complaint to a guest relations manager, Natalia, who told us "everyone got food, so there's no problem." When it was pointed out she wasn't really engaging or making eye contact, she said "this wasn't an organised meeting, I need to be elsewhere" — despite the meeting having been scheduled by her own colleague specifically so a manager could sit down with us. It was ended with the clear implication that we were the problem. She then only followed up days later, and only after we'd submitted the official guest feedback survey. When we told her we were escalating to senior management, her reply was "all the best." Add to this conflicting information (in writing and in person, from the same manager) about golf availability and pricing nearly double the going rate with no explanation offered, and it added up to a stay where every issue was met with deflection, a shifting excuse, or an implication that we were at fault — never a straightforward acknowledgment of a mistake. What was genuinely great: the pool team were fantastic throughout — particular thanks to Kayra, Umut, Dothan(Dohan?), Dogükan (best skater award goes to him too). We also spent time at the sister property, Regnum The Crown, where the lobby team member Gizem was excellent (best guest experience on the whole of the two sites), Alper at Carya buffet (he actually tried to turn negative experiences into positive ones and did a great job), Baki and Selcan at mexa for lunch too — all of which only underlined that this standard of care is clearly possible within the Regnum brand, and that Carya's problems sit specifically with its guest relations management, not its frontline staff or a lack of resources. We raised all of this directly and formally with the hotel before writing this review, and gave management the opportunity to respond. Beautiful pools, lovely rooms, genuinely warm frontline staff — but until Carya's guest relations management learns to own a mistake instead of arguing with guests about whose fault it is, we can't recommend it.”

“Luxury can be found in many places, but genuine hospitality is much rarer. What impressed us most about Regnum was not only the prestige and attention to detail that have made it one of the most admired resorts in the world, but the exceptional people behind the brand. Every interaction was marked by kindness, professionalism, warmth, and a sincere desire to help. The hotel itself is equally impressive. Thoughtfully designed and flawlessly maintained, it manages to meet and exceed the expectations of every guest, from the youngest children to the most discerning adults. Every detail feels considered, and every space reflects a clear intention to offer comfort and memorable experiences for all ages. I can only encourage all to give this place a chance, you truly won’t regret it. If you’re looking to experience luxury in its purest, most authentic form, where every detail is carefully thought through and every guest is made to feel genuinely valued, this is exactly the kind of place that delivers on that promise.”

“This is actually my first review of this hotel, even though we've been coming here for over 10 years. We like it so much that we even have two holidays booked here this year. First of all, I want to thank the whole Regnum team. Over the years we've seen the hotel improve its services and that's one of the reasons we keep coming back. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed with the approach of the golf department. My father always plays golf when we stay here and usually books at least two rounds every visit. During our current stay, he felt unwell on Saturday morning and couldn't attend his scheduled golf game. We went straight to the golf desk and asked if it would be possible to move the booking to another day. We were told that because the golf had been booked through our travel agency, we needed to contact them. We contacted the travel agency, but on Monday they told us that the hotel had rejected the request. What disappointed us is that after more than 10 years of visiting this hotel, this was the first time we had asked for anything like this. We weren't asking for a refund, only to move the booking to another day because of illness. It's a small thing, but situations like this can leave a bad impression. I hope the management will take a look at how cases like this are handled in the future. Martin Holub”
