Rawi Warin Resort & Spa is a large five-star resort for travellers who want everything in one place. It covers a hillside above Klong Toab Bay with four pools, a spa, several places to eat and gardens full of wildlife, and the views from the upper levels are the first thing many guests mention. The staff are just as central: warm, quick to help and praised in almost every review, along with a generous breakfast and a welcome for children of all ages. The size does have its drawbacks. The grounds are steep, so getting to the upper rooms means either a long walk in the heat or waiting for the shuttle car, and some standard rooms high up have little view. Eating in is expensive by local standards, and the beach is pleasant rather than spectacular. Families and couples who plan to stay on site will find a well-run base; those who want a small, quiet hideaway are better off elsewhere.
