“We just returned from an amazing family vacation at the Minos Imperial Resort in Milatos, Crete, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and highly service-oriented. However, what made our stay truly exceptional was Ines from the reception. She is absolutely amazing! When she realized our booked rooms were far apart, she went above and beyond to help us, upgrading our family to a stunning villa with a private pool. She took care of every single detail with the utmost professionalism and warmth, making sure our vacation was flawless. The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the hospitality is top-notch. Highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Ines, and the entire team!”

“We had a nice stay overall, but there are some things that really need improvement. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. The towels were changed every day, but the room itself was not properly cleaned. Even after calling reception because our room hadn’t been cleaned for three days, they only mopped the floor. The bathroom and the rest of the room were still not cleaned. Unfortunately, even leaving a tip didn’t make any difference. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were two employees whose attitude did not match what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I think the hotel should be a bit more careful when selecting and training their staff. On the positive side, the hotel has great potential. The location is beautiful, and I highly recommend renting a car to explore the island and the surrounding areas. There are many lovely places nearby that are definitely worth visiting. With better housekeeping and more consistent service, this hotel could offer a much better experience.”

“We honestly don’t understand why some people complain about certain things. With one single exception, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention also goes to Anna at the reception, who was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The food selection was definitely there and far more varied than some reviews suggest: around 6–8 meat dishes, always at least two fish options, a large salad bar, rice, at least two different pasta types with two sauces, various vegetables, small appetizers, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, an entire table full of dessert bites, as well as soft drinks, beer, and both white and red wine. Overall, there were easily several dozen different food options available every day. The only thing we noticed is that there are relatively few choices for guests who avoid alcohol and also do not want heavily sweetened soft drinks. The rooms and overall atmosphere look luxurious, although for us it does not fully match a true 5-star standard. Especially some details, such as partially unfinished silicone joints, felt a bit less premium. However, considering the price, we did not expect perfection and therefore were not disappointed overall. The resort is located in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly why we chose it. People should simply be aware of that before booking. Also, anyone visiting in December should not expect perfect summer conditions or a fully lively atmosphere, that is simply common sense. Another nice extra: it is possible to play tennis by only leaving a refundable deposit for the equipment, which we found very convenient.”

“A remarkably beautiful place with a distinctive Greek architectural style and very friendly staff. The food caters to every guest's tastes, but the Greek cuisine, in particular, is refined and absolutely exquisite—a true delight. I especially loved our room, which offered a panoramic view of the sea—the kind of view that makes you eager to return to this wonderful place. I would certainly come back in the near future; thanks for everything.”

“Service is top-notch and rooms are spacey, well-designed and bright. As minus rooms are a bit old and bathroom’s ventilation was insufficient. Location-wise it has amazing beach, separated from wavy sea by rocks and stones. The only but - for food closest restaurants and markets (excluding hotel’s own facilities) are 15 minutes walk away and there is no public transportation available. You can rent car at the spot, you can take tours or get a taxi, but be prepared that visit to the closest city will cost you over 50eur”
