Reviews from Google“We had a fantastic stay at Lyttos Beach! This is an excellent resort, especially for families with children. What we loved: * The Facilities: There are plenty of activities for all ages, beautiful swimming pools, a fantastic Olympic-size pool, and an incredible water park. Plus, there are plenty of bars scattered throughout the resort. * The Entertainment: The animation team puts on outstanding evening shows that are definitely worth watching. * The Food: Plentiful with a huge variety. The Asian restaurant was by far our favorite! Overall, if you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort in Crete with great facilities, excellent food, and plenty to do for both kids and adults, Lyttos Beach is a fantastic choice. We would definitely recommend it!”
“We recently stayed at Lyttos Beach and were impressed from the moment we stepped into the imposing lobby. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the check-in process was seamless. The Resort & Rooms: Our rooms were clean, practical, and well-maintained. A huge plus was the indoor route connecting our room to the restaurant – very convenient! The outdoor pools are crystal clear with plenty of sunbeds available, and the gym is one of the best-equipped we’ve seen, with a great focus on safety and guest identification. Dining: The atmosphere in the restaurants is cozy and the staff is exceptionally polite. We loved the daily themed buffets; the food was consistently fresh and tasty, even if you arrived towards the end of the service. A Heartfelt Thank You: What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is how they handle the unexpected. Due to a mistake on our part during booking, our family of six was split between Lyttos Beach and Lyttos Mare (the sister hotel next door). Even though it wasn't the hotel's fault, the management and staff showed incredible kindness and flexibility to ensure we could enjoy our holiday together as a family. It’s in these situations that you see the "real" value of a hotel. The team at Lyttos Beach went above and beyond for us. Verdict: Whether it’s the great sports facilities or the top-tier service, we can warmly recommend Lyttos Beach for any family trip.”
“OMG — everything is just right. On top of that, the staff are incredibly warm, engaging, and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing! This is the best 5-star hotel we have ever stayed at, and honestly the only one I would genuinely consider returning to. The hotel is designed very cleverly around a circular layout, so nothing ever feels too far away. The facilities are hidden underground, which is both smart and convenient. It’s also an adults/teen only (12+) hotel, which makes the atmosphere so much more relaxing without little ones screaming around the pool. There’s also a sister hotel next door with a water park and Olympic-sized swimming pool that guests can use anytime, which is such a bonus. I genuinely cannot stop smiling here — and I say that as someone who worked in high-end hospitality for 9 years and is an extremely demanding guest. Everything feels just perfect. It also attracts a really lovely mix of people. I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but everyone just seems relaxed, friendly, and chilled.”
“Lyttos Beach is a nice hotel for families with children. The food is excellent, with a huge variety of options every day. There are plenty of swimming pools, a massive water park, direct access to the beach, and great evening shows. The animation team is also wonderful - very friendly, enthusiastic, and great with kids. The hotel also has an excellent sports center with many facilities. However, I was surprised that tennis and padel courts require an additional fee and are not included in the hotel stay. The only downside is that the kids' club could be better organized. Most activities take place inside the club itself. If children want to go to the playground or the water park as part of the program, parents have to accompany them there and sign them in. This can be quite inconvenient if you're relaxing at the beach or in the room. I also had a very disappointing experience at the spa. I booked a facial and back massage. The treatments themselves were pleasant, but during the massage the therapist performed some stretching techniques and injured my lower back. My back became completely blocked, and the next day I had to find a chiropractor in the nearest town. Unfortunately, the last three days of my holiday were ruined because I could barely move. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for families. It offers excellent facilities, nice food, and a wonderful atmosphere for children. However, I would be cautious about booking treatments at the spa.”
“⭐☆☆☆☆ I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other families should know what to expect. This hotel promotes itself as a 5-star luxury family resort, but our experience was the complete opposite. The room quality was disappointing, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. We found stains on the bed, and when we informed the staff, they showed little concern. There was no sincere apology, no urgency, and no effort to make things right. For a hotel of this standard, that response was shocking. What upset us even more was the attitude of some of the staff. They were consistently unfriendly, and one staff member even raised their voice and shouted at my children. No family should have to experience that while on holiday. The hotel is also extremely crowded, which affects the overall atmosphere and service. Instead of feeling like a luxury resort, it often felt busy, chaotic, and poorly managed. The biggest disappointment is that what is advertised is completely different from the reality. The photos and marketing promise a luxury five-star experience, but the actual product and service fall well short of those expectations. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last stay here. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine five-star family resort, as our experience was far below the standard we expected.”
