The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- Ikos Aria offers eight à la carte restaurants with menus created by Michelin-starred chefs. Consistently high standards—whether Greek, Spanish, or Asian—and everything's included, along with a selection of over 300 wines.
- Wonderfully child-friendly without compromising the adult experience. All restaurants feature children's menus and purées for little ones, whilst adults can enjoy wine tastings and cocktail masterclasses—all included.
Things to Consider
- During peak season, it can be tricky to secure a table spontaneously at popular restaurants, particularly at sunset. It pays to book well in advance via the app or WhatsApp. Some find the logistics between restaurants a bit fiddly, but with a little planning it works smoothly and staff are always happy to help.
- For some, the hotel's location may be a drawback. Ikos Aria is situated in Kefalos, a beautiful but remote part of Kos, roughly 45 minutes from Kos Town. If you're keen to explore the island, this could prove limiting.
Should you book it?
Ikos Aria is worth booking for families seeking luxury with excellent child-friendly dining — but pick somewhere else if you want close proximity to Kos Town for exploring.

Reviews from Google“We enjoyed a stunning week in April at Ikos Aria, their opening week of the season. The resort was spotless, the staff and service exceptional and variety of food and drink was very good. The beaches were lovely, water was crystal clear and options of things to do were excellent from water sports to spa to tennis to Countryman Minis. Good mix of pool options. Nice variation of restaurants and styles. Special mention to few standout staff but everyone was lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. Karina - Rooms manager Anthony - Front of house manager Korneluisz - Flavours waiter Umit - Main bar waiter Klaudia - Kos waiter Viay - Spa Main receptionist Highly recommend.”
“We stayed at Ikos Aria for one week in the middle of May, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. The cleanliness throughout the resort was excellent, and the level of service from the staff was outstanding. Whether in the restaurants, at the buffet, by the beach, or around the pool, every team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Before our trip, I had read many reviews about the food at Ikos resorts, and I am happy to say that the reality exceeded our expectations. The quality, variety, and presentation of the food were excellent throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to Mr. Stelios Vasios for his exceptional attention and care. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. My husband is vegetarian and also prefers not to eat garlic or onions. We were truly impressed by the effort made by all the restaurants to prepare meals tailored to his preferences. Every team was accommodating and willing to create dishes that suited his needs, which made him feel very welcome and valued. Thank you to the entire Ikos Aria team for a wonderful holiday. We would be delighted to return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly luxurious and relaxing experience.”
“Recently spent a fantastic 2 weeks at Ikos Aria in a deluxe junior suite. Overall the resort is amazing. The service was outstanding especially in Seasons restaurant and Achileas on the deluxe beach. The food in the restaurants is mainly excellent, sadly our experience is Fresco was not so good, the service was poor and the food was disappointing (the worst lasagna I have ever tasted). I would highly recommend Ikos Aria for anyone wanting a luxury holiday.”
“Ikos resorts are now a family favourite. The most amazing resort, from the moment you arrive you are treated so wonderfully. The hospitality is out of this world. Food and drink are also amazing. The rooms are great. We would highly recommend the deluxe rooms. Will definitely be an annual holiday, next stop is Crete 🤗.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Ikos Aria. The service was truly exceptional and very attentive throughout our holiday. We really appreciated the beautiful setting, the relaxing atmosphere, and the excellent choice of restaurants, all offering a very enjoyable dining experience. The Deluxe Collection package is definitely worth it, and we would highly recommend choosing this category. In particular, the beachfront bungalows were absolutely fantastic — we loved the location, the comfort, and the overall experience. Ikos Aria fully met our expectations for a high-end holiday, and we would be very happy to return. Highly recommended.”
