- The ultra-modern, concrete-and-glass aesthetic is clean and contemporary, though travelers seeking traditional Greek warmth or rustic charm might find it slightly clinical.

Reviews from Google“This was our first time in Kos and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located. We loved our room, and had a beautiful balcony view of the sunset every day. The beach and pool were lovely and it was great to have staff for food and drinks. The location made it super easy to get to town, either walking or €8 taxi. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful — big thanks to Violetta, Vicky, Thanos, Mr. Kostas, everyone on the front desk, and specially Mr. George!”
“From the moment we arrived we loved this hotel. The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The contemporary hotel is just beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. We liked the pool area but preferred being on the beach. Hopefully when we return next year the beach sun lounersb will be updated and the new apartments will be completed. Thank you all at Auga Blu for our wonderful 10 Days.. see you in 2027!”
“GREAT staff! Absolutely amazing. Nice hotel aesthetically, but be careful if you have dietary restrictions. I was served pork in a salad where it wasn’t mentioned on the menu at all. As someone who does not eat pork for religious reasons- be careful could also be a breach for allergies . Good location, property in general need a renovation.”
“Amazing stay at Aqua Blue Hotel in Kos, Greece. Perfect location with easy access to the beach and town. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom and spacious shower. Breakfast had a great variety every morning, and the pool food was consistently high quality. The cocktails were fantastic ,especially the Greek Spritz and the coffee at both breakfast and the bar was excellent. The staff truly made the experience special. Violeta was always friendly, attentive, and helpful, while Thanos went above and beyond with taxis, luggage, and recommendations throughout our stay. Highly recommend Aqua Blue for anyone visiting Kos looking for great service, beautiful rooms, amazing food, and a perfect location.”
“The hotel is visually pretty, with tasteful décor and a relaxing aesthetic. However, there was a significant gap between appearance and actual service delivery. One of the main reasons we booked Aqua Blu was the beachfront location. While the beach is directly across the road, there was visible hotel-related construction along the side of the private beach and the shoreline was largely unsuitable for dipping or swimming due to rocks, seaweed, algae and dirt/ debris extending knee-height into the water. The pool area was pleasant, but construction noise reduced the tranquillity expected from a five-star resort. (That was not informed ahead of time) The breakfast experience was excellent and several members of staff were genuinely warm and professional. Unfortunately, this standard was not reflected throughout the wider guest experience. During our stay: • Requested a quiet room in advance and were initially placed overlooking a noisy car park. • Were advised to order food through an external delivery app because the kitchen was closed on arrival then being told the kitchen was actually still open. • Were told wellness classes were complimentary, then told they were paid. • Were given a timetable which was later confirmed to be incorrect. • the yoga class was arranged through our reception, to take place at the sister hotel (the name wasn’t specified at the time of booking) • Walked to the sister hotel (as recommended as walking distance) only to discover no booking existed, as the class was the following day.. even though the staff was supposed to have arranged the class.. even told to “enjoy yoga” as we set off from our hotel • Received no follow-up, no apology or acknowledgement afterwards. • Experienced repeated confusion regarding transport, the sister hotel and available services. The most disappointing aspect was management’s response, which described these issues as a “difference in perception”. Respectfully, incorrect information, a non-existent booking and repeated communication failures are not matters of perception. A beautiful property with excellent breakfast staff, but significant shortcomings in communication, organisation, service consistency and accountability that fall below what should reasonably be expected of a five-star hotel.”
