The family-run house on the western edge of St. Anton is built from concrete, wood and glass, its rooms open onto the mountains through wall-sized windows, and guests talk warmly about a team that makes them feel at home. Breakfast is a highlight, and in winter half board brings a five-course dinner. The location is the main compromise. The cable cars are about ten minutes away on foot, so skiers depend on the free shuttle, and the centre is a walk along the main road. Some guests found the pillows too soft, the Wi-Fi weak and the rooms warm in summer, and the wellness area is limited to a sauna and a steam bath. Couples and friends who value design, views and a personal welcome will enjoy it; those who want ski-in access or a big spa should look elsewhere.
