“WOW! Our stay at Grand Hotel Ortigia was absolutely exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms, stunning views, and a perfect location right in the heart of Ortigia, making it easy to explore everything this beautiful island has to offer. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was breakfast on the spectacular rooftop terrace. Enjoying a delicious breakfast each morning while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views over the harbour and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea was an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect way to start each day and is something we'll always remember. The staff were outstanding from the moment we arrived. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with anything we needed made us feel truly valued as guests. The breakfast itself was excellent, with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality food, and the rooftop setting made every meal feel extra special. The hotel's atmosphere perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and authentic Sicilian hospitality. This was one of the highlights of our wedding anniversary trip, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. We would highly recommend Grand Hotel Ortigia to anyone visiting Syracuse and Ortigia, and we can't wait to return. Five stars all the way!”

“A truly remarkable 5-star hotel. Everything was very good from start to finish. The rooms are impeccably clean, very well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to help with anything you need, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is special, and the music in the hotel creates a unique vibe. At times it even feels like being inside a poetic line — “Your lips, two petals, All the diamonds.” Elegant, relaxing, and truly memorable. A place you will definitely want to return to.”

“I picked this hotel because of its location and my mom’s limited walking. I splurged more than I could afford but it was definitely worth it. Everything about this hotel is great. Sitting on the amazing terrace enjoying their breakfast buffet and being able to order from a menu which is included is absolutely fantastic! Carmello and the staff are so attentive, kind and fun. The room was nice, comfy and the only thing missing was a balcony. But the view from the window made up for it. The cleaning crew was there morning and night to make sure we had everything we needed. This hotel had the best fragrance and it was always nice coming back after having been outside to their pleasant smell from their fragrance sticks. We ended up buying the same one as a memory from Sicily. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel but what makes it so memorable and special is the staff who are always smiling, efficient and happy to help. It was always great returning to the hotel and seeing Fortunado and Adrianno with their smiling faces. We loved every minute here and so will you👌🇮🇹”

“Outdated hotel, small rooms, pictures not representative of the current state of the hotel. No outlets in the rooms, WiFi not working, and they nickel and dime for all services. Disappointed overall, I would not recommend.”
