Das Reisch is made for guests who want to stay right in the middle of Kitzbühel. The family-run hotel is about 100 m from the centre, a few minutes' walk from the old town and about 400 m from the Hahnenkammbahn, so skiers walk to the lift and evenings in town need no car. Guests speak most warmly about the breakfast, which many rank among their favourites, the friendly staff and the renovated, individually designed rooms, and the sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin are included. The location has one clear downside: rooms at the front face The Londoner, a busy pub, and several guests heard it late into the night. There is no pool, coffee capsules beyond the first two cost extra, and garage spaces must be booked. In summer the golf courses and the Schwarzsee are close by. Skiers and couples who want a personal, central base will feel at home, especially in a room at the back.
