It is an adults-only house at Faliraki, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, built around an outdoor pool with a sun terrace and pool bar, with two restaurants and modern rooms in a bohemian-chic style. Guests speak most warmly about the staff, the spotless rooms with their small thoughtful touches and a breakfast many call the best they have had anywhere. The trade-off is the location. The hotel is set back from the sea, so beaches such as Katafygio, 1.7 km away, mean a short drive or a walk, and the centre of Faliraki is about ten minutes on foot. A road nearby and the pool bar's music can be heard from some rooms, and evenings are on the quiet side. Couples who want to unwind by the pool and eat well will feel very much at home.
