I stayed seven days at this hotel with a two-year-old toddler. The food was excellent, very diverse, catering to all tastes. The rooms were very clean, the pools were plentiful, and the children's area was very entertaining. Plenty of play areas, both outdoor and indoor. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. All I can say about this hotel is that I’d return anytime. I recommend it to anyone with kids who wants a pleasant vacation. Five-star hotel and at a very good price.

What we loved the most: Genial location and beach: We stayed in a bungalow, and it was literally just a few meters from the beautiful, sandy beach. The view and proximity to the sea were absolutely wonderful! Additionally, the hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing - it’s very close to the famous Palace of Knossos, so there is plenty to explore and discover in the area. Incredible food: The cuisine at this hotel is an absolute masterpiece. I travel quite a lot, but I have to admit that Arina Beach has some of the best food I have ever encountered on my travels. Everything was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety. Service and logistics: A big plus for the proximity to the airport, which makes the transfer quick and easy. Due to the location, a plane flies overhead from time to time, but it didn't bother us at all - in fact, it was actually quite a cool sight. The entire hotel staff and service were incredibly nice, helpful, and always smiling. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to come back!

We stayed at this hotel with my child for exactly one week, and overall we had a wonderful vacation! What we loved: ✅The hotel grounds were spotless and beautifully maintained. ✅The beach and the sea were absolutely amazing. In my opinion, this is one of the best beaches for families with children. Even when there are waves, the water remains shallow, making it safe for kids to swim. ✅The water slides are not huge, but they are very safe and perfect for children. As a parent, I felt completely comfortable letting my child use them. ✅The food was delicious and varied. We also visited all of the à la carte restaurants and enjoyed them. I would like to mention a few small downsides that didn’t ruin our vacation but could definitely be improved: ❌It was surprisingly difficult to get basic room amenities such as cotton buds, slippers or a shower cap. We had to ask for them repeatedly. I don’t think guests should have to request simple essentials every day. ❌The lady working at the spa by the main pool was the only staff member who left a negative impression. She behaved as if she owned the place and was unnecessarily rude. Everyone else at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. ❌The indoor pool has restricted hours for children. My child had injured a foot and couldn’t swim in the sea because of the salt and heat. The outdoor pools were too hot during the day, so we quietly used the indoor pool. There was only one other guest there, yet we were repeatedly and quite unpleasantly told to leave. I understand that hotels have rules, but the way this situation was handled was disappointing. Especially since there is already an adults-only (18+) pool near the far bar. ❌The Asian restaurant wasn’t suitable for children. Most dishes were very spicy, and there wasn’t much variety of sushi. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids. These are relatively minor issues, and I hope the hotel will improve them in the future. ✅Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and parents traveling with children. It is safe, clean, beautiful, has an incredible beach, and offers delicious food. We had a great holiday and would happily return.

We have stayed at many hotels around the world, including RIU and Sensatori resorts, and honestly, Arina Beach was just as good — if not better in some areas. The food was very nice throughout our stay, with plenty of choice every day. The beach was lovely and clean, with soft sand and beautiful clear water. Drinks were good, and the water park was great for kids and kept our little one entertained for hours. The entertainment team also did a fantastic job. Every night was enjoyable, and even though the programme repeated after 7 days, it was still very well done and had a great atmosphere. I also want to mention allergies. I have a nut allergy, and all allergens were clearly labelled, which made things much easier and safer for me. One day, the head chef even made me a cake from scratch especially for me, which was genuinely appreciated and a lovely gesture. The only small improvement I would suggest would be having nut-free cakes in a separate section to avoid any chance of them being mixed with other desserts. Another small suggestion would be to have spare pillows of different firmness available at reception for guests who may prefer softer or firmer options. The only negative experience we had during the stay was with one security guard, who approached me and my two-year-old son quite aggressively over how we opened a door. It felt unnecessary at the time, however I do believe this was just an isolated incident, as every other member of staff we encountered throughout the holiday was friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return. A fantastic hotel for families, with great staff, a beautiful beach, and a really relaxing atmosphere.

A truly wonderful half term break. What we loved the most; The beach - small but beautiful, always sunbeds available, clear water, helpful showers at multiple entry points to wash off the sand Lunch at Dia - the gyros were delicious and we much preferred this to the busier option of the main buffet (which is also great and we loved breakfast there) All dinner locations; The Asian restaurant sushi was so fresh and delicious and the restaurant is run by a really lovely family and made our daughter’s birthday meal extra special Avra - beautiful sunsets, delicious food, lovely atmosphere Meat & Fish - the fish options were fresh and beautifully cooked We spent most of our day at the heart shaped pool. We preferred it to the busier main pool. Sunbeds at all locations were so comfortable. Shout out to Myrto in the pool bar who makes the best drinks, always served with a smile & great energy Kids loved the flume pool, we’d spend the last hour or so of the day there, at which point there were always sunbeds. The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, and the highlight was the people who work there - all so friendly, helpful, welcoming. Only suggestions; There was nowhere to hang towels or anything in the bathroom. A few hooks would have been great! We had a Sea view family room, the view was ok but at the end of the hotel overlooking an empty terrace and partial seaview. We could often smell a fried food smell, and I think a resort/seaview would have been nicer. Overall, a really wonderful holiday, thank you Arina Beach ❤️
