By Axel Hernborg · Updated 10 September 2026 · How we review hotels

Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection - Ultra All Inclusive is ideal for travellers wanting high-end dining and beachside relaxation. It features an exceptional booking score of 9.5 across 626 reviews, offering sophisticated ultra-all-inclusive dining and private beach access. One drawback to consider is the distance from central Antalya airport, and the property can get very busy during the peak summer months.

The resort balances refined adults-only spaces, such as the tranquil spa, with engaging activities for families. It is an ideal seaside retreat for those seeking high-caliber dining and direct beach access in Turkey.

Guests score it 9.5 out of 10 — the average across the 7 hotels we list in Side is 9.

  • The hotel sits directly on a manicured stretch of Mediterranean coastline, offering guests reserved loungers, cabanas, and attentive beachside beverage service.
  • With multiple à la carte restaurants included in the package, diners can experience high-quality Turkish, Mediterranean, and international cuisines without extra charges.

There are great hotels, and then there are truly exceptional ones. This is undoubtedly one of the finest hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. My husband and I both work in luxury hospitality, so we naturally notice the details—and from arrival to departure, everything was seamless. The food was one of the biggest surprises. For a resort of this size with an all-inclusive concept and so much variety, the quality was exceptional. As my husband is a Michelin-starred chef, we don't say that lightly. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of the team were outstanding. A special thank you to Mustafa (our waiter at Roka), Emrah (our waiter at Safran), Ceylan and her male colleague whose name has slipped my mind - this duo was a highlight during our breakfasts on the outdoor area, Fatima (waitress at Maison Plage) and Fatma (? no name tag so I might mispelled her name - she was from HSK on the 1st floor), who each went above and beyond and are truly hospitality stars workers. Our only suggestion would be to introduce a shared tipping pool or another way to recognize the entire team. While we were fortunate to thank many front-of-house staff personally, we also want to acknowledge the incredible work of housekeeping, maintenance, gardeners, the beach security team... They all played a part in making our stay unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team for an amazing holiday. We have been fortunate to experience many outstanding hotels through both our work and our travels, and this hotel truly stands among the very best. We cannot wait to return.

We are currently enjoying the last day of our week's stay and, overall, this is a beautiful hotel. The layout is excellent, the grounds are immaculate, the food is outstanding with plenty of variety, and most of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. One disappointment with the facilities was the à la carte restaurants. Although they're advertised as being available for unlimited visits, we only managed to visit each of the three restaurants once during our seven-night stay because they were fully booked on the other evenings. The booking system is restricted to set times and only three days out, and cannot be used if you have more than one room. The biggest issue, however, was the sunbed situation, and it's the reason we probably wouldn't return. Unless you're up before 7am, getting sunbeds together is difficult because so many are "reserved" long before they're used. What made this particularly frustrating was repeatedly seeing a member of staff, Ali, placing towels on beds for certain guests hours before they arrived. On three consecutive days, we even saw two beds reserved for the same solo guest so she could move between sun and shade, while families struggled to find seats together. This appeared to contradict the hotel's stated policy of not allowing sunbed reservations. It's such a shame because this is otherwise a fantastic hotel. If management could improve the restaurant booking system and ensure the sunbed policy is applied fairly to everyone, it would be an easy five-star review.

We stayed here for 10 days during peak holiday season in early August and had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful, extremely well maintained and the standard of service throughout is excellent. There is a great choice of food. The Palmiye buffet is varied with plenty of options, while the à la carte restaurants are particularly impressive. Safran was our favourite and we enjoyed it so much that we booked it three times. LaVanta (Italian) and Roka (seafood) can also be booked through the hotel app or Guest Relations via WhatsApp, with bookings available three days in advance. Maison Plage Bistro & Lounge is another lovely option for a more relaxed waiter-service lunch or dinner. The staff are fantastic — friendly, polite and genuinely helpful, with nothing ever seeming too much trouble. The hotel app is also really useful for restaurant information, activities and entertainment. The facilities are excellent, with a beautiful private beach area, plenty of cabanas and loungers, a large pool, well-equipped gym, daily aqua fit and activities including yoga. Although the hotel isn’t adults-only, the atmosphere was still very relaxed during our stay. The location is ideal for exploring, with Side Old Town within walking distance. We walked in one day and took a taxi another, which was much easier in the heat and humidity and allowed us to save our energy for exploring the old town itself. Cleanliness was another real highlight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, housekeeping clearly work incredibly hard and the grounds are beautifully maintained, with the gardeners regularly tending to the resort. Our only real criticism is the sun lounger situation. Guests were reserving loungers with towels before 7am, meaning you need to get up very early to secure one. We have stayed at hotels where loungers can be reserved through the app for the following day, and introducing something similar here would make a big difference. Overall, we had a fantastic 10-day stay and would happily return. The food, facilities, beautiful beach, excellent service and genuinely lovely staff made this a wonderful holiday. With a better system for sun loungers, we think it would be even better.

We had a very enjoyable stay and left with great memories. The food was one of the highlights of our holiday. The Turkish dishes were absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety and authentic flavors. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared with care. The desserts were also excellent, offering a wide selection and great taste. We found ourselves looking forward to every meal. The cocktails were another pleasant surprise — well-made, refreshing, and enjoyable throughout the day.The hotel was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so enjoyable.

The hotel is great, the food is delicious and the services outstanding. The most i enjoyed Derya's classes, twice a day: pilates and yoga. She offers a great experience, you get to strech, work out and relax at the same time. Thank you Daria for keeping me fit while enjoying my vacation as well.🤗💓 Simona
