“We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Copenhagen and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location was exceptional—perfectly situated within walking distance of so many of Copenhagen' various neighbourhoods, attractions, restaurants, and places of interest. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable, and we loved being able to wander everywhere on foot. The staff truly made our stay special. Tomas at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and questions. At Paere, Livy and our server Marco provided outstanding service throughout our visit. The food at Paere was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared, and the service was genuinely 10/10. Our room was stunning—beautifully designed, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches that elevated the experience. We especially appreciated the in-room water spout, a small detail that was both convenient and environmentally conscious. It perfectly reflected the care and attention that went into every aspect of the guest experience. From the beautiful accommodations and exceptional dining to the outstanding staff and unbeatable location, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen!”

“- The location is excellent. It's a short walk to a lot of stores in Copenhagen even though the area surrounding the hotel is quiet (Which is a plus). - The staff were great and the hotel was super well staffed. - Breakfast was awesome and definitely worth going for if its included in your room rate (But it is expensive). - The rooms and nice and well furnished. Despite the nice rooms, the sizes of the rooms are extremely cramped and I feel like it could've been better designed to max space. For example, getting rid of the large rack near the window for extra SQFT would've made the room bigger. There also just wasn't enough storage for bags in the room. Some feedback: 1. Reorganize the housekeeping system. 2/3 of the nights the room wasn't serviced and we needed to call the front desk to get it fixed. I hope this doesn't happen again on future stays. 2. The elevators are extremely slow.”

The cleanliness was outstanding, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. A special mention to Suite 628 — everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The location was also excellent and very convenient. Overall, everything was superb, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great spot in Copenhagen to hit all the spots you want to see. Totally walkable to Tivoli, Nyhąvn, strøget and more. Rooms are very Scandinavian with lots of wood. Great bathroom with a great shower too. Quiet, and well insulated, and they have blackout shades to let you sleep in, especially this time of year, Midsommar. Breakfast was superb, and the whole restaurant, bar area is super cool and has a great vibe. A great place to launch from while in Copenhagen and will be a return stay for me definitely.”

“1 hotel Copenhagen has a beautifully designed space, but the hotel’s service standards need to be improved The Positives: The hotel is a stunningly repurposed 1928 department store in the historic Latin Quarter. The biophilic design and airy atrium are impressive. Rooms include thoughtful touches like Bamford toiletries, unlimited filtered water, and practical rain gear. Areas for Improvement: * Arrival: Following a 15-hour flight, there was no staff at the entrance to greet guests or assist with luggage, leaving me to handle my bags and find reception independently. * Housekeeping: During a three-night stay in Room 264, basic maintenance required repeated reminders. Despite requesting service via the hotel app and using the “service” indicator during long absences, daytime cleaning and evening turndown were missed entirely. I eventually had to locate a hallway staff member just to empty the trash. * Attention to Detail: A follow-up service left the minibar unreplenished and toilet paper nearly depleted. More worrying, I found hair behind the pillows upon arrival. Additionally, room dining trays (from room 262) remained in the hallway overnight, despite being right across from the housekeeping service door. * Room Layout & Amenities: Structural pillars are expected in a historic building, but the shallow closet depth with the ironing board inside prevents the doors from closing when standard hangers are used. Basic comfort requests, like securing a room heater when temperatures dropped to 12°C, also took forever. This is an aesthetically exceptional property in a fantastic location. However, compared to the flawless execution of 1 Hotel Tokyo, there are clear operational gaps, so I hope management refines its service standards to match.”
