Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
By Axel Hernborg · Updated 16 August 2026 · How we review hotels
This hotel is ideal for design-oriented visitors wanting a central Latin Quarter location. It has an exceptional booking score of 9.8 based on 526 reviews, and a 4.4 Google rating from 220 reviews. Standout features include minimalist interiors with Danish design and an accessible, inclusive facility layout. A drawback is that on-site parking spaces are limited, and the atmosphere becomes busy during peak hours.
Guests score it 9.8 out of 10 — the average across the 9 hotels we list in Copenhagen is 9.1.
What Guests Loved
- The hotel occupies a prime position in the historic Latin Quarter, placing guests a short walk from the Strøget shopping district while maintaining a quieter neighborhood atmosphere.
- Interiors feature high-end Scandinavian elements, balancing contemporary aesthetics with functional layouts that reflect the city's architectural heritage without feeling overly clinical or sparse.
Things to Consider
- While the hotel offers parking, the historic street layout of the Latin Quarter means spaces are limited; guests may occasionally need to utilize nearby public garages during high occupancy.
- The popularity of the on-site restaurants and central location can lead to a bustling environment in the lobby and dining areas, particularly during the morning breakfast service.

Reviews from Google“We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Copenhagen and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location was exceptional—perfectly situated within walking distance of so many of Copenhagen' various neighbourhoods, attractions, restaurants, and places of interest. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable, and we loved being able to wander everywhere on foot. The staff truly made our stay special. Tomas at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and questions. At Paere, Livy and our server Marco provided outstanding service throughout our visit. The food at Paere was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared, and the service was genuinely 10/10. Our room was stunning—beautifully designed, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches that elevated the experience. We especially appreciated the in-room water spout, a small detail that was both convenient and environmentally conscious. It perfectly reflected the care and attention that went into every aspect of the guest experience. From the beautiful accommodations and exceptional dining to the outstanding staff and unbeatable location, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen!”
“- The location is excellent. It's a short walk to a lot of stores in Copenhagen even though the area surrounding the hotel is quiet (Which is a plus). - The staff were great and the hotel was super well staffed. - Breakfast was awesome and definitely worth going for if its included in your room rate (But it is expensive). - The rooms and nice and well furnished. Despite the nice rooms, the sizes of the rooms are extremely cramped and I feel like it could've been better designed to max space. For example, getting rid of the large rack near the window for extra SQFT would've made the room bigger. There also just wasn't enough storage for bags in the room. Some feedback: 1. Reorganize the housekeeping system. 2/3 of the nights the room wasn't serviced and we needed to call the front desk to get it fixed. I hope this doesn't happen again on future stays. 2. The elevators are extremely slow.”
“Great spot in Copenhagen to hit all the spots you want to see. Totally walkable to Tivoli, Nyhąvn, strøget and more. Rooms are very Scandinavian with lots of wood. Great bathroom with a great shower too. Quiet, and well insulated, and they have blackout shades to let you sleep in, especially this time of year, Midsommar. Breakfast was superb, and the whole restaurant, bar area is super cool and has a great vibe. A great place to launch from while in Copenhagen and will be a return stay for me definitely.”
“The property was amazing. Right from the reception staff who were super welcoming (special shoutout to Iren and Jose) to the tasteful decor, it felt very cozy to be staying there. The hotel is big on sustainability and some things were very interesting and pleasantly surprising to see - like an option to leave an item of your choice and they would donate it. Our room overlooking the round tower was great, and we had everything we needed. The tech savvy equipment, the comfortable bed, the spacious washroom and the balcony all were super nice. The food, drinks and service at PÆRE (Diana was amazing, charming and super efficient) and Fjora (thank you to Joao for taking care of us) were delicious and we went back for a bite multiple times during our stay. The location was a few mins walk to the old town and very conveniently located close to lots of places to eat/shop nearby. It was also fairly close to the Nørreport Station which made it easy to commute to other parts of the city. All in all, a great stay and would highly recommend the property! PS: The only disappointment (and surprising) point was the layout of the room. It was well equipped and everything, but it hardly had room to move from one end of the room to the other. It will not impact our rating or the way we feel about the property, but considering everything else about the place and how amazing it was, it was definitely inconvenient and surprising that the space couldn’t have been utilised in a better way.”
“Really nice spot. Good ambience. Quality drinks and the Dj did a superb job making a chill but uplifted ambience. It's a four star rather than five because the bar manage (this full bearded dude) micromanaged and was a pest to the staff. He really should get a job where he does not lead anyone.”
