Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
By Axel Hernborg · Updated 30 August 2026 · How we review hotels
Travellers who appreciate traditional design and beach access will feel at home here. The hotel holds a 9.1 Booking.com score based on 556 reviews and a 4.6 Google rating from 3978 reviews. Its highlights include traditional Canarian-style architectural design, direct access to Los Pocillos Beach, and a well-equipped wellness centre and spa. On the downside, in-room safes require an extra fee, and some of the interior decor elements are slightly dated.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 11 hotels we list in Lanzarote is 8.9.
The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- The hotel sits directly on the wide sands of Los Pocillos Beach, allowing guests to transition from the pool deck to the ocean within minutes.
- Inspired by local aesthetic traditions, the resort features whitewashed walls, wooden balconies, and central courtyards that create an authentic sense of place.
Things to Consider
- Guests wishing to secure their valuables in the room must pay an additional rental fee, which feels outdated for a four-star property.
- While comfortable, some of the pine furniture and fabric choices in the guest rooms lean toward a traditional style that some travelers might find dated.
Should you book it?
Seaside Los Jameos is worth booking for beach lovers wanting direct access to the sea — but pick somewhere else if you expect free in-room safes at four-star hotels.

Reviews from Google“Just got back early July 2026. A holiday for myself, husband, mum and young daughter. My husband is paralysed using a wheelchair and we booked this holiday through a disabled holiday agent. The accessible room had a stylish and practical wet room bathroom, which is possibly one of the best we've seen. The facilities for all of us were impressive and the activities such as SUP Yoga and Aqua Bike were great. Note the pool water is lightly salted and wheelchairs might want to be cautious with too much salt water on the chair. The food is incredible and plenty of choice. We stayed for 8 days and never felt like we needed to venture out to mix up the food offering. We did venture out to Le Grande beach where they had beach wheelchairs which were well supported by the lifeguard team. A taxi cost about 5 euros each way and the hotel helped us order one. The cocktails and drinks were delicious but the vibe is more quality over quantity. If your vibe is to guzzle down the booze this hotel might not be the one.”
“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was of excellent quality, with many dishes prepared à la minute, making it feel much more refined than a typical large-scale buffet. It definitely didn't have the feeling of mass catering. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. Personally, I found the mattress a bit too firm, but after requesting a mattress topper, it became perfect. The air conditioning was easy to adjust, and we kept it on a low setting, which created a very comfortable room temperature without feeling too cold. The saltwater pool was very pleasant and not overly salty. We also noticed that inflatable rings and pool toys are now allowed, which was a nice surprise because we had read in older reviews that they were not permitted. The staff were exceptionally friendly, hardworking, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We usually stay at 5-star hotels, but this hotel truly offers a level of quality that deserves to be in that category. We highly recommend it and would happily return.”
“This hotel is easily in my top three holidays of all time. We travelled as a family and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Location The location is fantastic. It’s in a quieter area, which we really appreciated, but it’s only around €6 for a taxi into the centre or a short walk if you prefer. Taxis Taxis are cheap, readily available, and the reception team will happily arrange one for you whenever needed. Food The food was in a league of its own and was the highlight of our holiday. Everything was always hot, fresh, and there was an incredible amount of variety every day. Staff The staff were outstanding. In fact, I genuinely miss them a little! They made our holiday feel special and went above and beyond to ensure we felt looked after. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Pools We spent most of our time at the kids’ pool with the slides. It opens at 9:00am, and a queue starts forming around 8:40am for loungers, but honestly, there were always spaces available throughout the day. The pool is heated, and the slides were fantastic—a brilliant addition and a great investment by the hotel. The other pools were equally impressive. Also there’s a towel service that’s free so you don’t need to take your own. Rooms We were originally allocated a refurbished room, but unfortunately, we were next to a baby who cried throughout the night. Completely understandable—we’ve all been there—but as we’d paid a lot for the holiday, we decided to ask if it would be possible to move rooms. The hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. They moved us without any fuss to a quieter location, next to a family with a child around the same age as ours. It made a huge difference, and we slept much better for the rest of the holiday. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return. From start to finish, the experience was almost perfect and ranks among my favourite family holidays. We travelled as myself, my wife, and our 9-year-old daughter, and all of us had a wonderful time.”
“We stayed here in April, and although the weather wasn’t great during the first few days, the hotel pleasantly surprised us with its delicious and varied food. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable—we had one with a beautiful ocean view. The staff is polite and always ready to help. Special thanks to the manager, Kateryna. We would definitely love to come back again.”
“We stayed here end of April with our 2 kids from 6 and 8. We liked the kids pool with the slides, the pool was nice heated. The main pool was also very pretty. Unfortunately we did not like that there was no atmosphere around the kids pool, no music no pool activities, it was very quite. We would have liked some more daily entertainment and games around the pool…also no club dance for example..the Mini disco was very nice in the evening. We didn’t like most shows as there where often singers..the magician shows we did enjoy. We booked a family room and we got a nice room with sea view, which was lovely. The rooms are not very big for a family of 4. Would have been nice it the kids got 2 single beds instead of a sofa bed. Then the food and drinks… fabulous! Never seen such a big variety of food in an all inclusive resort! We where very much impressed…food was delicious! Also the drinks and cocktails where amazing, no syrups, everything made from scratch and branded. We would definitely come back, mainly because of the heated pools and the lovely food and drinks. We only hope there will be more entertainment in the future 🙏”
