Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

“The hotel is located in the most beautiful spot with amazing views from almost the whole hotel. 30 minutes drive from the airport and only 15 minutes walk from the old town make it a great location. In terms of service, some staff are amazing, Stephan at the front desk welcomed us and showed us around. Jaci who was our “butler” was also outstanding. Checking in daily on what’s app and helping with small detail's and anything that we needed. Shiv at the breakfast making omelets at the table was also wonderful. These staff showed 5 star service. Sadly their job is made harder by some of their colleagues who have not been trained to the same level and are often rude and unhelpful. We booked superior rooms with king beds. The rooms had great views but were tired, not well maintained And not cleaned very well. I would again say view from the room is 5 star but the rooms themselves are more like a 3 star hotel. We were upgraded for the final nights of our stay to a spa suite which was a newer room and much more of the standard of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast options at the hotel are very good- fresh fruit and vegetables along side a wide selection of pasties, meats and cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed the food but again service from most in the breakfast area was lacking. In 12 days there was not one when we found a table that was set properly with all the utensils and water glasses and it would take a very long time for water and coffee (which could not be self service). Most of the staff working in the breakfast area seem like they hate their job and do not want to be there. These are small detials but when paying 5 star prices something you expect to be right. We have stayed at many other Rixos and Accor hotels who do this much better. The view from breakfast is 5 star and you can sit inside or out. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were always empty probably given the high prices and the fact you can get much better quality food at near by restaurants. We have lunch at the pool on a number of days. Service was fine food was okay prices were around 25 euro for a pizza. The pool area itself is very nice, they do offer drinks to the sun longera although it can be hard to find staff. At the end of the days most areas are covered in dirty glasses or dishes as the staff in the area do not clean them up. There is a life guard but they spent much of the day inside or talking to other staff so families with children need to keep an eye on them as the pool water is deep. No early morning rush to secure a sun longer is nice, There is a gym with decent equipment and a good view. Overall our experience was mixed and for the price we paid we probably would not return.”

“I would like to give this hotel a very high recommendation. It starts at the top of management and transcends to every level below. The hotel itself is gorgeous, clean, and very well maintained. It is extremely comfortable in every single way. I enjoy going to the gym on my vacations and the gym is very well equipped for your workout needs. I would like to say we had such an amazing experience with Jelena, the Sommelier, who was extremely well-versed in her wine knowledge. Ana, from guest relations was over the top helpful. She made sure we were comfortable. Bahar, who is the restaurant manager at Mykorini was amazing. Helping us pick out our perfect meals. Mirela was the concierge and she was outstanding. Holding our hands through the perfect trip.”

“Loved our stay at this hotel. Room was clean and spacious . Staff was friendly . Amenities were great . Restaurant options are expensive yet were good. Breakfast was very nice . The views are beyond amazing - and the set up to swim in the sea was great . Lots of sun beds . 15 min walk to the old town. Highly recommend”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Rixos Hotel in Dubrovnik. The hotel’s interior is stunning, and the rooms are tidy, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful balcony and amazing sea views. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We also loved the hotel bar and the fashion boutique onsite. The location is excellent — you can enjoy a scenic half-hour walk along the waterfront to reach the city center. Absolutely no complaints — everything was perfect 😍”
