Reviews from Google“Highly recommended. Here are a few more details and a couple of things to keep in mind. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. It has a calm, peaceful atmosphere and is exactly what you'd expect from an adults-only hotel. It also has a private beach, good dining options, and what truly sets it apart is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, approachable, and attentive. They remember your room number, genuinely care about your experience, and are always nearby to see if you need anything—you never have to look for someone to help. The spa was also excellent, even though it is operated by an external company. Overall, it's a fantastic place with beautiful design and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. If you book early, look out for the half-board deals—they're definitely worth considering. A couple of minor points: having to pay for water at dinner felt a bit odd, and with just a little more attention to the desserts, this hotel would be absolutely flawless. We will definitely be back!”
“I had a wonderful stay overall. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was amazing. Everyone was so kind, caring, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotless, with exceptional cleanliness throughout the day, and it was such a peaceful place to relax. There were no issues with noise at all. A special thank you to Mandrin at reception, who was absolutely fantastic. From the very first day, they made us feel so welcome and were always happy to help with anything we needed. All of the staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with everything fresh and a great variety of options to choose from. The coffee was also delicious. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the hotel made it extra special with their thoughtful gesture. Thank you so much for helping create such a memorable celebration! The only downside was the room. It was extremely small for two people, which made it feel quite cramped. I was also disappointed with the shower, as the shower head was very small and the water pressure was weak. Despite these issues, I still felt the hotel offered great value for money, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a fantastic location.”
“We have just returned home after a week staying at the Nema design hotel, and it was a wonderful stay. Everything about the hotel was great, the room, the restaurant, the pool area, their section of the beach, the service, and definitely the staff, everyone was so helpful, from check-in, the bellboys, restaurant staff, and the cleaners, always smiling and helpful. Its sits quietly tucked away behind their own bar and literally over the road from the beach. The room we booked had its own deck and large plunge pool, and a twin sun bed. We were booked for bed and breakfast, and the selection for breakfast was fantastic, so many different options. If you're looking for a quiet adults only hotel on Crete, i have no issues in recommending The NEMA design. Its was perfect!”
“We were visiting to celebrate my 30th birthday and had a lovely stay at Nema. When we arrived the manager let us know straight away that unfortunately the room we booked (room with private terrace and fire pit) wasn't available due to issues with the room. But they instead put us in one of the private pool rooms, then moved us to one of the jacuzzi suites on the last night. Moving rooms was very easy and they made it very easy with the new room ready at 11am so we could transfer over straight away. The staff throughout are all lovely and welcoming. The hotel has a little bit of everything you need, with plenty of space by the pool and loungers on the beech. Overall I would highly recommend Nema especially for the hospitality of the staff.”
“What a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful throughout, with a lovely scent that made it feel luxurious from the moment we arrived. The rooms were gorgeous, and the private pools were comfortable and relaxing. The outstanding customer service really stood out. Everyone at reception greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel so welcome. A special thank you to the cleaning lady with short hair (I’m so sorry I forgot her name!) who was always kind, friendly, and lovely to see. The gym was a great convenience, and the food was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the evening meals were equally delicious. A fantastic hotel with wonderful staff – I can’t wait to return!”
