Hotel Kämp is for travellers who want a grand hotel in the old sense, right in the middle of Helsinki. It has stood on Pohjoisesplanadi since 1887, and guests keep describing the same things: elegant interiors, attention to detail and staff who are professional without being stiff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is a highlight, and Senate Square, the harbour and the shops on Aleksanterinkatu are a short walk away. The trade-off is mostly about price.
