“The hotel made a really great first impression. A stunning lobby with a view of the sea and hills alone makes you want to come back. The grounds are clean and well maintained, and the rooms are cleaned nicely, with lovely little touches like chocolates left for guests. Overall we were happy with our stay, but a few nuances are worth mentioning. The hotel has two beaches we were told one is reserved for VIP rooms, while the other is for all other guests. Having a separate, reservation-only beach for certain room categories felt out of place for a hotel of this level. On the regular beach there was an issue with spots being reserved from early morning with towels and books, while people didn’t actually show up until noon or later, and this wasn’t monitored at all. It also seemed like people from outside the hotel were using the beach and changing clothes right there, with no oversight either. It would be great if the hotel managed this better. The carpet in the room had visible stains, and the shower gel/shampoo holders had what looked like mold or grime, which was surprising too. Breakfast was decent overall, but the menu repeated daily, so a bit more variety would have been nice. As for drinks, coffee was only available black or with milk, with no other options like cappuccino offered. The minibar in the room, by the way, was unreasonably expensive. Overall it’s a good hotel and we look back on this stay fondly, but wanted to flag these details for future guests.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel. The staff were exceptional—super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had stunning views that made the stay even more enjoyable. The pool restaurant was amazing, with great food and a beautiful atmosphere. Although we experienced some issues with other guests during our stay, the management team personally took the time to speak with us and handled the situation professionally. Their attention and care made a big difference and showed a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubrovnik”

“Loved our short two day stay at this luxury hotel. Everything was top notch with super sweet staff that let you be. Unlike the big hotel chains, they really value everyone and go the extra mile to make your stay great. The property is pretty big for you to find your spot and just relax. Highly recommended!!”

“We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with everything. The view from the rooms was amazing. Room service was excellent, and the rooms were always clean and well maintained. The breakfast was just as wonderful as described in other reviews—there was a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. The beach was also perfect. There were enough sunbeds and umbrellas for the hotel’s capacity, and clean towels were always available. Since there are rocks at the entrance to the sea, I would recommend bringing sea shoes for more comfortable access. Getting to and from the Old Town was very easy with bus number 4, which departs right in front of the hotel. Taxis are also a convenient option. This is definitely a hotel we would love to return to in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!”

“We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace! We had a room overlooking the ocean with a balcony that was stunning! The room was a decent size and certainly big compared to regular European standards. The location was incredibly convenient to Old Town, and the bus stopped directly at the hotel which made transportation very easy. The pool area was also wonderful and very relaxing, didn’t get too busy either. Only negative was the restaurants at the hotel were all very expensive. We did have breakfast included and the buffet was great, but if you’re looking for a quiet dinner at the hotel, there weren’t super affordable options.”
