What Guests Loved
- The architectural design ensures that every guest room faces the sea directly without obstruction. Floor-to-ceiling windows and private glass-fronted balconies prioritize the horizon, removing any visual clutter from the surrounding urban landscape of Limassol.
- The property hosts Matsuhisa Limassol and Ristorante Locatelli, providing guests with high-caliber gastronomic options on-site. These venues offer distinct culinary experiences that elevate the hotel's profile beyond standard resort dining, focusing on technical precision.
Things to Consider
- Located in the Amathus area, the property is a fifteen-minute drive from the Limassol Marina and old town. Visitors wishing to explore the historical center will need to rely on taxis or car rentals for transport.
- The celebrity-chef restaurants are highly sought after by both hotel guests and local residents, making walk-in seating difficult. Securing a table often requires booking several days in advance, particularly during the summer season and weekends.

Reviews from Google“We had a superb stay at Amara Limassol. Everything was at an excellent standard, from the rooms and services to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The beach conditions are outstanding, extremely clean and very well organized, while the hotel facilities are truly exceptional. The pools, spa, and relaxation areas are impeccable and perfectly maintained. The restaurants deserve special appreciation. The food is excellent, diverse, and beautifully served. The staff is attentive, friendly, and highly professional, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. It is an elegant and peaceful hotel, perfect for relaxation. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium stay in Limassol.”
“A stylish and peaceful hotel with stunning sea views from every room. The breakfasts are delicious, the restaurants are great, and the service is attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and aesthetic — perfect for a getaway. On the downside: prices are above average, it can get crowded during high season, and the surrounding area isn’t the liveliest for walking outside the hotel. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and beautiful stay.”
“It was our first time in Cyprus and we chose Amara as our hotel and it was absolutely the right choice. Being in some 5-stars hotel (Dubai), you never know, what to expect somewhere else, but this was absolutely 5 star + 5 star service. Marios welcomed us from the very early beginning and because we are always too lazy to book restaurants in advanced, he could sneak us in, even though they were fully booked. Just for SPA this was not possible. So better make your appointments ahead of your journey. View is amazing. Running along the beach easy. Gym is not big, but everything is there. Indoor pool is big. Outdoor pools as well. Once we went to Nammos for lunch (was good, but expensive). Again, if we choose Cyprus again, we know where to stay - Thank you team Amara 👋🙏”
“We visited Amara using a day pass and unfortunately had a disappointing experience that felt very inconsistent with the standards one would expect from a luxury hotel. My girlfriend arrived (on Ferrari!) before her friend and was informed at reception that payment for the day pass could be made near the pool area. While waiting for her friend, she approached the bar intending to order a coffee. At that point, the pool manager (Shady?) approached her in a rather abrupt manner and instructed her to return to reception and pay first. She immediately complied and purchased a €100 day pass. After her friend arrived, they went to relax on the sun loungers by the pool. However, the same manager quickly approached them again and informed them that day pass guests were apparently not allowed to use that area and had to stay on a grassy section further away from the pool. This was quite surprising, especially considering the price of the day pass and the fact that these restrictions had not been clearly communicated beforehand. Later, while the two friends were simply taking photos of each other, the manager approached once more and claimed that "commercial photography" was not permitted. This was particularly confusing, as they were merely taking personal photos on their phones, like countless guests do every day. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the facilities are excellent. Our disappointment comes entirely from the guest experience and the way these situations were handled. Luxury hospitality is not only about attractive surroundings; it is also about making guests feel welcome and respected. Clear communication, consistency, and a more courteous approach from staff would have made a significant difference. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, as the property deserves a level of service that matches its otherwise impressive setting.”
“We recently had the pleasure of hosting our latest art exhibition at Amara Hotel, and once again, the experience exceeded all expectations. From the initial planning stages to the final day of the event, the entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. The hotel provided an elegant and versatile setting that perfectly complemented the atmosphere of our exhibition. The team was incredibly supportive throughout, ensuring that every element from setup to guest experience ran seamlessly. Their coordination, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence played a significant role in the success of our event. Our guests were equally impressed by the warm hospitality and impeccable organization. The staff created an inviting and refined environment, making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. It is clear that Amara Hotel has mastered the art of hosting sophisticated and memorable events. We are also delighted to share that our gallery space within the hotel, located near the lobby, will remain open to visitors who wish to explore and acquire artworks with the name of KAPOPOULOS FINE ARTS gallery. Ms. Edita warmly welcome art enthusiasts and collectors to stop by and experience the collection at their convenience. We are truly grateful to the entire team for their dedication and outstanding service. Amara Hotel continues to be a premier destination not only for relaxation but also for hosting high-caliber exhibitions and cultural events. We look forward to collaborating again in the future.”
