“Perfect experience from check in to check out. There are steps to get inside the building but otherwise they are used to American asking for ice, Diet Coke, to-go cups with lids, the most gorgeous garden I might even recommend garden view over canal view you can hear the birds. Great attention to detail. Pricey but worth the price certainly in such a variety of ways. "No" is not an option, the staff are unreal, whoever is managing this hotel is doing a fantastic job. Very well coordinated.”

Every request was handled with remarkable attention to detail and genuine care. They arranged a VIP airport terminal service for us, which turned out to be the finest VIP airport experience I have encountered anywhere. Having used many similar services around the world, this one was truly in a league of its own, and I am grateful to the team for making it happen. A special mention must go to the hotel’s signature chocolates, created exclusively for Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. After discovering how much I enjoyed them, Frank from the concierge kindly arranged a box for me to take home, a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects the level of service offered throughout the hotel. The property itself is elegant, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. From the stunning lobby and public areas to the breakfast restaurant, every space feels refined, warm, and inviting. As for the accommodation, I stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was easily one of the best hotel rooms. Spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally well laid out, it struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. There was a small hiccup at the beginning, as it took some time to find a room that matched my preferences. However, the front desk team remained patient and committed to finding the right solution. By the evening, a team member went above and beyond to secure a room that perfectly met all of my requests, which I greatly appreciated. Once settled, the room exceeded expectations and became one of the highlights of my stay. What impressed me most throughout the stay was the genuine willingness of the team to help. Whether before arrival, during the stay, or when arranging special requests, the level of service consistently exceeded expectations. Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam delivers the kind of hospitality that is increasingly rare to find. Between the outstanding concierge team, beautiful property, exceptional Junior Suite, and attention to detail throughout, this is a hotel I would happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
