“The best hotel we've stayed at in Europe, hands down. We spent our July family vacation here with young children, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to them at every turn. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the location can't be beat, right by the best shopping in the city. Special praise for the concierge, who was truly amazing. They set up activities, transportation, and restaurant reservations for us, making the whole trip effortless. Honestly, the entire staff is exceptional. We will certainly be back. If you're traveling to Rome with family, look no further than Hotel de Russie.”

“We recently stayed at Hotel de Russie and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with gorgeous surroundings and an excellent location in the city, making it very easy to explore Rome while still feeling calm and secluded. The service throughout most of our stay was great, the food was very good, and the room, although slightly small, was quiet, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated that the hotel listened to our request before arrival and kindly provided a pregnancy pillow, which made a real difference during the stay. The marble bathroom and modern shower were lovely, and the spa area, while not huge, had everything needed including a sauna and steam room. It was always clean and relaxing, and although there were only a few seating areas, we never struggled to find a bed. There were unfortunately a couple of frustrating moments. The hotel repeatedly contacted us regarding a restaurant reservation that belonged to another guest with the same surname. Even after explaining several times that it was not us, the messages continued, and the handling of it felt a bit dismissive. The airport transfer we arranged through the hotel was also disappointing. The driver was nowhere to be found when we landed, and we spent around 40 minutes to an hour searching for him after a long flight, especially frustrating considering the premium price paid for the service. When he finally appeared, there was no apology from the driver himself. However, the hotel handled the situation professionally afterwards, apologised sincerely, and kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast, which was genuinely appreciated. Despite these issues, we truly loved our stay and would absolutely consider returning in the future.”

“I had the pleasure of having an aperitif at the Hotel de Russie in Rome and it was a really special experience. The real protagonist is undoubtedly the wonderful garden: an oasis of peace in the heart of the city, elegant, attention to the smallest details and surrounded by greenery. The atmosphere is refined but at the same time relaxing, perfect for disconnecting from the Roman chaos and enjoying a moment of tranquillity. The service was impeccable, attentive and discreet, while the cocktails were prepared with great care and accompanied by excellent quality appetisers. Sitting in the garden at sunset, between soft lights and impeccable vegetation, makes the aperitif a unique and memorable experience. A place that I absolutely recommend to those looking for elegance, relaxation and one of the most beautiful corners of Rome.”

“Great bar outside for an aperitivo around 6pm just in time for sunset. Giorgia and Valerio are wonderful. They provided us with amazing service and they are fantastic mixologists. They made some great suggestions and made us some amazing cocktails we will not soon forget. We had a beautiful time.”
