Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
This modern resort integrates comprehensive spa facilities and multiple dining venues with a position overlooking the Dalmatian coast. It is well-suited for travelers seeking a structured wellness retreat that remains within a short distance of Split's historic monuments.
What Guests Loved
- Most guest rooms feature private balconies oriented toward the Adriatic, providing clear sightlines to the islands of Brač and Šolta. This architectural choice ensures that the coastal landscape remains a primary element of the guest experience.
- The resort houses a comprehensive spa center alongside both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. These facilities offer consistent relaxation options regardless of the season, catering to those prioritized on hydrotherapy and wellness treatments.
Things to Consider
- While the location is coastal, reaching the Old Town typically requires a thirty-minute walk or a short vehicle transfer. Guests who plan to spend the majority of their time at historic sites may find the commute less convenient than a central hotel.
- During the peak summer months, the outdoor pool area often reaches full capacity, making it difficult to secure preferred seating. Utilizing the indoor pool or arriving earlier in the morning can help mitigate the impact of the midday crowds.

“The Spa and the massage there are excellent. The different types of saunas, cold and warm pools, outdoor and indoor. All of it was amazing! Special thanks goes to Anja the masseuse. I did a deep tissue and her skil goes deep. Excellent place. If I'm ever in Split again, I would definitely choose this experience again. BTW, restaurants here are top notch as well!”

“Very nice hotel. The breakfast is good with attentive service. I liked our balcony even though it was too hot to be outside much. Good location. The outdoor pool was beautiful and the Pool Bar was good, with decent food and great service. It was possible to get a sunbed by the pool even if you came around 11 or 12 noon. Close to downtown- take Uber not taxi or you will get scammed. Minuses- elevators are slow and ended up waiting a lot for that. Impossible to get a "free" beach chair unless you come very early. The Mistral lounge/club is very expensive, loud, and not that good.”

“The location is great but the service by the pool and beach does need some work. Breakfast at The Fig is excellent but not so great during lunch time. Dishes can be hit or miss. For lunch we liked the cheese burger but did not particularly enjoy the garlic shrimp and margarita pizza. For dinner you are better off trying Triton restaurant for some excellent seafood with a view. The pool area is nice but the service is hit or miss. The free beach are is rocky but the one managed by Mistral Beach Club is public beach that still be used without buying any cabana or chairs. As far as rooms are concerned, our sea view suite was spacious and well appointed but there was no true sea view for the price we paid. They had construction right across from our balcony. That is the major inconvenience because the construction started at 7:30am. Otherwise it is a great hotel to relax in.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Split, and a big part of that was thanks to Marijo and Hrvoje. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were exceptionally accommodating, always willing to help with any questions or requests we had. Their communication was excellent—they were attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. What stood out most was their genuine care and respect for guests. They treated us with kindness, professionalism, and warmth, making us feel truly valued. It's clear that they take great pride in providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guests have the best possible experience. When we arrived at night Marijo and Hrvoje gave water and also provided a taxi in the morning to the airport. Thank you, Marijo and Hrvoje, for your dedication and exceptional service. You made our stay memorable, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split. We hope to return in the future! 😊🌟”

“Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at when visiting Split. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Old Town, and there’s a lovely beach just a short walk away via a path behind the hotel. The restaurant staff were also consistently polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. That said, there were several disappointing aspects that fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. We were not informed before arrival that the indoor pool would be closing during our stay. We were only able to use the spa once before it was closed until after we had checked out. The outdoor pool is also quite small. Another disappointment was the beach club. It is not complimentary for hotel guests, and the prices are quite high. Even more surprising, some of the poolside sunbeds around the outdoor pool (inside the hotel area) are only available to the guests for an additional €150. I have never experienced this at a five-star hotel, and it felt excessive. The rooms could also be cleaner. There were dusty spots and marks in some corners of the walls, toiletries such as shampoo and hand wash were not refilled daily, and basic amenities including a dental kit and an iron were missing from the room. Overall, the hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but several service and maintenance issues make it difficult to justify its five-star rating.”
