“This is as good as it gets. If I could give it 12 stars, I would We had a junior Suite which was stunning. We had breakfast every morning, and the spread was first class. We had numerous drinks on the terrace outside of the bar, and after a long day in Lisbon, it was like coming home to family. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We are high end travelers, and we will spend for exquisite food, service, staff, and the overall ambiance. LAPA.PALACE CHECKS EVERY SINGLE BOX. BRAVO!!!!!!!”

“Severe health hazard and dishonesty from management. During my stay in room 208, I discovered a live cockroach infestation. While front desk staff acknowledged the hazard, handed me a partial cash refund, and signed an official "Paid Out Receipt" explicitly writing "refund due to cockroach complaint in the room" (see attached photo), the General Manager later sent an email falsely denying that any pest was ever found to evade further accountability. A 5-star establishment cannot operate with active biological hazards and then attempt to rewrite reality to its guests. The matter has been formally escalated to the Portuguese health authorities (ASAE) for a full sanitary inspection and to my financial institution for breach of contract. Absolutely unacceptable handling for a hotel of this caliber.”
