My Arbor is an adults-only hotel for guests aged 16 and over, and everything here is built around calm. The house stands among the trees on the Plose above Brixen, with treehouse-inspired architecture, balconies over the valley and a spa with five indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and a Turkish bath. Guests speak most warmly about the design, the spa, the multi-course dinners and a team that is friendly and attentive from the first moment. In winter the cable car to the Plose ski area is 350 metres away; in summer the same slopes turn into hiking country. The trade-offs come with the setting. There is little to walk to, so outings to Brixen depend on the car. The rooms have no air conditioning, which some guests felt during summer heatwaves, and dinner follows a set menu with drinks charged separately on half board. Couples who want to ski or hike and spend the rest of the day in the spa will find a polished retreat.
