We had an amazing stay at Hotel Okura. From check-in to check-out, the service was top-notch. We loved our room, which was incredibly spacious—especially the bathroom, an often-overlooked feature. The views were stunning, and the room service food we ordered was excellent. The location was also great as several public transportation options are just a short walk away.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It’s not in the center of Amsterdam but it is walkable to De Pijp, and nearby restaurants. The 12 tram makes a lot accessible too. We had a junior suite which was comfortable for 3 adults. Recommend the breakfast buffet. The fitness facility is perfect for families also. Notably, we accidentally left a couple items behind and the hotel notified us and promptly shipped the items back to us. I’ve never had follow up like that before - 5 ⭐️ service

Extremely disappointing stay at Okura Amsterdam. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury property, this experience fell far below expectations. There was scaffolding directly outside our window with construction workers making noise from around 7am every morning. This completely ruined any chance of a relaxing stay. Even worse, we experienced water leaking into our room, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. At no point were we informed about the ongoing building works before our arrival. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. Charging full price while guests are subjected to construction noise and disruption feels misleading. Luxury hotels are judged on attention to detail and guest experience, and unfortunately this hotel failed on both counts. I would not recommend staying here until the renovation works are complete.

My stay at Hotel Okura Amsterdam was nothing short of exceptional—truly one of the finest luxury hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the very moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the commitment to excellence. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and the level of service is simply top notch. A very special shoutout to Lynmar, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and seamless as possible. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine care did not go unnoticed. He is an incredible asset to the hotel, and I sincerely hope to see him rise through the ranks to a leadership position—he absolutely deserves it. The rooms were stunning, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Amsterdam that made every moment feel special. Cleanliness was impeccable, with attentive turndown service twice daily that kept everything pristine. Breakfast each morning was fresh, abundant, and truly indulgent—a perfect way to start the day. Another standout highlight was the rooftop bar, where the bartenders crafted not just drinks, but an unforgettable experience with their skill and hospitality. The spa club was also one of the most amazing experiences of my stay. The pool and hot tub were incredibly relaxing, creating the perfect escape after a day in the city. From the moment you enter, the reception team ensures everything is taken care of—providing towels, robes, and slippers so you can fully unwind without a single worry. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Amsterdam. Hotel Okura sets the gold standard for luxury, service, and attention to detail. I will absolutely be returning.

What a great hotel. Very classly top flight service and amenities. Love the Japanese touches, origami on the night stand. Highly recommend. Concierge staff was amazing, hooked us up for museum visit when tickets are sold out weeks in advance.
