Reviews from Google“Very nice hotel, all the staff and hard working and professional. Restaurant is fantastic. You need to know there is three different menu’s for two ares of the hotel. Bar menu noon until 6pm, after 6pm restricted bar menu only. Restaurant menu after 6pm only! I really loved the mixed grill in the restaurant, loved the homemade pizza from the bar in the afternoons and the Tuna wrap in the bar after 6pm! I would like to ask the hotel to add some chopped lemon with the bar snacks. I Will visit again soon”
“Good hotel in a very good location. Nice selection at breakfast and you couldn't ask for a better view whilst you're enjoying it. All sunbeds and pools are open to residents at no charge. An arm band is provided at check-in to stop confusion. We had a "sea view" room and weren't disappointed. The picture is taken from the chairs directly outside the room. The reception and bar staff are welcoming, speak many languages and are happy to help at any point through your stay. A big thank you to the cleaner's who provided fresh bedding, towels and everything else we needed every day, whilst being so subtle we hardly noticed them coming in and out. I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay.”
“I had a fantastic stay at Odjo D'Agua Hotel! The central location made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel features several well-maintained pools and direct access to a beautiful private beach. I always felt well taken care of, with attentive staff and multiple dining options. Safety is a top priority here, which added to my peace of mind. Overall, my experience was delightful, and I look forward to returning!”
“Super professional experience from start to finish. The space was spotless and very clean, which made me feel comfortable straight away. Tania took the time at the beginning to check for any allergies or sensitivities to products, which I really appreciated. The massage itself was excellent — I booked 30 minutes but it honestly felt closer to 45, without feeling rushed at all. At the end, she also gave thoughtful recommendations tailored to my needs. Great value for money (30€ for 30 minutes) and I would definitely recommend.”
“I really have nothing good to say about this hotel. The person who checked me in when I arrived (his name began with a G i think)really couldn’t be bothered. I honestly wanted to walk out, I was so miserable. The place was tired, run down and just plain dirty. My room was SO dark. The street was on one side so I couldn’t even open the curtains and on the other was a corridor where the cleaners like to chat in the mornings. I might as well have been in the cellar. I had furniture with drawers missing, towels with holes and cockroaches in my room. My fridge was barely cool and my tv didn’t work. Then there was the food. It was cold and would take forever to arrive. I ordered a salad in the restaurant just after it opened. It took nearly an hour. The worst part was the fact that, even though I was on half board (breakfast and evening meal) I still ended up paying! I was told that my particular package meant I had a 1900 credit towards the meal. I ordered a goats cheese salad, a Coke Zero, chicken in a some kind of sauce (freezing cold) and fried sweet potatoes (boiling hot). I finished with a dessert (no idea what it was because it wasn’t what I ordered). So even though I had paid for two meals a day, I STILL had to pay around 2500 escudos. This wasn’t mentioned on the hotels website or the travel company. I never went in there again for an evening meal. The staff seemed grumpy all the time and any request for anything was met with more grumpiness. Like they weee doing me a huge favour by even talking to me. Maria and another young lady who’s name began with a D were lovely though. I made her write down her name but I can’t understand her writing, sorry. Possibly Demilia? Anyway, these two were lovely. Everyone else was just rude and unwelcoming. If you’re back packing around the world, this place is ok. If you’re used to anything above a one star hostel, avoid.”
