We stayed at Hotel de la Ville for 4 nights and had such an incredible time. It is located right on the shopping area so there were so many places to shop and the view from the top of Spanish Steps was amazing. Our room was spacious and stayed nice and cool with both air conditioning and a fan. I had some of the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel, the Irene Forte amenities were a really nice touch too. Housekeeping was so attentive every day and always made sure the room was perfectly prepared when we came back. The biggest highlight was definitely the staff. Every single person we met was genuinely warm and welcoming. They remembered our preferences and always greeted us with a smile. We also loved spending time at the bar, excellent cocktails, great atmosphere and the views were beautiful. The spa was another highlight and such a relaxing experience. Thank you once again to the team who really make it special!

Wow this place is amazing! It's at the top of the Spanish Steps-great location and just a stunning place to stay. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the welcome peaches and chocolate and birthday cake just took it up a notch to exceptional attention to detail! We loved the restaurant Cafe Ginori and the 6th floor bar! The roof top restaurant had stunning views-but we didn't eat there. The breakfast had everything you could want-so many options! Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will be back!

Our stay at Hotel de la Ville was the definition of a restful retreat in the heart of Rome. From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality and seamless customer service was exactly what we were looking for. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Claudia for her impeccable oversight, as well as the concierge team. The entire staff operates with a soft, professional approach that is rare to find; they are attentive yet prioritize the discretion and privacy that make a stay truly comfortable. The suite offered a breathtaking view that captured the essence of the Eternal City, and the hotel's location is simply perfect for exploring while having a quiet sanctuary to return to. For anyone seeking a blend of elegance and world-class service, this is the place. We already look forward to our next return to the Hotel de la Ville.

The concierge service was, unfortunately, the worst I have experienced at a hotel. On multiple occasions, transportation that had been confirmed by the concierge was never actually arranged, causing our group to arrive 45 minutes late to reservations—including missing sunset at a rooftop dinner. After the first incident, where they completely failed to book the private cars they had recommended for our tour, I confirmed at 7:00 a.m. that evening’s 7:45 p.m. transportation. When we arrived in the lobby, nothing had been arranged. We were told they would call taxis, yet watched arriving taxis be given to other guests while we continued to wait. The lack of follow-through extended beyond transportation. I contacted the concierge weeks before our stay for assistance with dinner reservations, yet minimal effort was made. I ultimately had to book two of our three reservations myself, by which point my preferred times were no longer available. To the hotel’s credit, they did cover the cost of some of the transportation after these issues occurred. However, the reimbursement did little to offset the repeated stress, delays, and confrontations required simply to make it to reservations that had already been confirmed. The inconvenience far outweighed the financial savings. What was most disappointing was not that issues arose, but how they were handled. During the previous eight nights of our trip at another luxury hotel in France, every request was managed seamlessly, and any minor issue was resolved proactively. Here, I found myself repeatedly arguing with the concierge simply to have previously confirmed arrangements honored. Their explanation that “the city was busy” suggested a lack of planning rather than an unavoidable circumstance. Our group occupied four rooms, including two multi-room suites, making this a significant investment. While the rest of the hotel staff were warm and professional, the concierge team’s repeated failures overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay. …In response to the GM’s comment that we should have booked private cars. You should get the proper information before responding to the reviews. On multiple occasions we booked private cars through your concierge. However, your concierge never actually made the car reservation, which caused further chaos as we were forced to get cabs during these busy times. Even our private car to the airport which was booked months in advance did not arrive on time.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel De La Ville. Its location right by the Spanish Steps made getting around Rome incredibly convenient. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The restaurants on-site were unique, and the food was truly outstanding. With the help of tour guides, a bit of exploring on our own, and especially the knowledgeable concierge, we felt confident navigating the city and made the most of our time in Rome.We had a wonderful stay at Hotel De La Ville.
