“Attentive service, impossibly beautiful with views of the marina, and extraordinary food. This was a singularly exceptional experience start to finish. There are four restaurants in the hotel, which are so delicious that we ended up cancelling half our reservations just to sit on the water there and eat. Every request, even ones we didn’t think we would have, were promptly met with a smile. Huge shout out to the restaurant staff and their impeccable training. I will dream of that burger and those kenelbulen until my return”

“Right on the water across from the palace, so you’re a short walk from Gamla Stan and the museums. Room was quiet with a view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent. Service was polished but not stiff. The building itself has real history to it. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would stay again.”

“The Grand Hôtel Stockholm is one of the city’s most iconic luxury hotels, located right by the waterfront and just a short walk from Nationalmuseum. Its location is probably one of the best in Stockholm, with views over the harbor and easy access to Gamla Stan and central attractions. The building has a classic, elegant style and feels very historic, but inside it’s well maintained and modern where it matters. It’s known for hosting international guests, celebrities, and even Nobel Prize laureates during the awards week. Even if you’re not staying there, it’s the kind of place that adds a lot to the atmosphere of the area — especially when you walk along the waterfront nearby in the evening.”
