Stays are all-inclusive, and guests talk warmly about the food, the included drinks and the friendly staff and owners. The views over the town and the Texel Group mountains are the constant backdrop. The calm is deliberate, and that is the main trade-off. The hotel is about 3 km from Algund village, though a bus stops at the door and a hiking trail starts nearby.
