Reviews from Google“There aren’t enough words to describe what an incredible stay we had. Beyond the breathtaking views, outstanding food, luxurious rooms, and wonderful sense of privacy, concerts, what truly made this hotel exceptional was its people . Above all, the service and the amazing staff made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff remembered us by name, checked in with us several times a day to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to see if we needed anything. They even surprised us with thoughtful treats during our stay, making us feel truly valued as guests. I would especially like to thank George, the Front Office Manager, who is without a doubt one of the most outstanding hospitality professionals I have ever met. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care ensured that every part of our stay was flawless. A special thank you also goes to Nikos from the restaurant. Every recommendation he made was worth it, and his exceptional service, attention to detail, and leadership were evident in every meal we enjoyed. This hotel doesn’t just offer luxury it creates unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience.”
“Disappointing stay after being promised so much We stayed for 2 nights and paid around €1900, booked into the Loft Suite, and unfortunately the experience didn’t match the price. The good: Room service was the only food we ate, and it was great. The vegetarian menu was limited, but staff happily arranged off-menu options for us. The bad: On our first night, a constant buzzing noise started in the room sometime in the middle of the night. My wife woke to it around 5 am and tried to figure out the source — we even turned off the AC thinking that was the cause, but the noise persisted. She had almost no sleep for the rest of the night. We reported it the next morning. By evening, staff said it was noise from some external machinery that couldn’t be fixed due to a technical issue, and offered to move us to the Cave Suite instead — a room that was actually €40-50 cheaper than what we’d booked, and smaller, with fewer amenities and less privacy. The receptionist convinced us to accept the switch by promising a warm pool (26°C), since our original pool had been on the colder side and we’d planned to enjoy it at sunset. Once we moved, we found the “warm” pool was actually much colder than our original one. Maintenance told us heating it properly would take at least 2-3 hours, so we missed sunset entirely and had no interest in a cold pool after dark. It felt like we’d been misled into accepting the room swap. As compensation, the hotel comped our room service (~€150). We’d heard great things about this place and expected a lot more. Losing a night’s sleep on day one and having our plans for the second evening fall through because of a downgrade we were talked into made for a genuinely disappointing stay.”
“One of the most special hotels we have ever stayed at. We were lucky to receive a upgrade to a suite with an infinity pool, which made our stay even more memorable. The food was excellent throughout, especially at the restaurant UMI. It is highly recommended, but make sure to reserve in advance. Breakfast was also great, with both à la carte and buffet options. The spa area is beautiful and the massages were very relaxing. However, it’s a bit disappointing that the spa facilities (sauna, steam bath) cannot be used without booking a treatment or paying extra... this should be communicated more clearly. The pools were beautiful but not heated, which made them difficult to use in winter. Overall, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we would definitely love to come back.”
“A very special thank you to the most wonderful people: Georgia, Denice, and both Giorgoses. They are truly amazing people, so kind, warm, and full of positive energy. They made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We already miss it! ❤️ My boyfriend and I stayed at Acro Suites for two days, and it was absolutely magical. We are so happy that we chose to stay there. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately it was fully booked, which is completely understandable considering how incredible this place is. Acro Suites is a truly special place, and we will cherish the memories from our time there. We hope to come back again someday.”
“What we expected to be a phenomenal stay based on the glowing reviews and recommendations ultimately left us feeling underwhelmed. The property itself is undeniably beautiful, and the cave room was genuinely unbelievable at first glance. Architecturally and aesthetically, it was stunning and clearly designed to impress. Unfortunately, after the initial wow factor wore off, the experience began to feel more like style over substance. The weather was not on our side during the stay, so we prepared ourselves for a cozy indoor experience. Instead, the hotel seemed entirely unequipped for guests spending meaningful time inside. The room lighting was incredibly dim which only amplified the gloominess of the rainy weather outside, making the space feel darker and less comfortable than relaxing. While visually dramatic, the cave room lacked the warmth and comfort you would expect from a luxury stay. One of the biggest frustrations was the temperature and air circulation in the room. Due to hotel policy, the air settings in the room were completely unchangeable and the heating appeared to be set very high because of the weather. We both tend to run warm, and despite trying to adjust the temperature, the room became stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep in. For a hotel at this price point, basic comfort and climate control should not be an issue, especially when guests have no ability to regulate the room themselves. To make matters worse, the spa was completely booked for our entire stay, which was extremely disappointing given that it is one of the key features and main selling points of the property. With the weather limiting outdoor activities, we had particularly looked forward to enjoying the spa facilities, so finding it entirely unavailable significantly impacted the overall experience. It felt surprising that hotel guests were not given better access or priority to such a central part of the resort experience. Dining was another letdown. Due to the weather, only one restaurant on the property was open during our stay, and it was the exact same space where breakfast was served each morning. As a result, there was very little variation or atmosphere to the dining experience, which quickly became repetitive. Again, this might have been less noticeable during good weather when guests can spread across the property, but during a rainy stay it only reinforced the feeling that the hotel was not equipped to deliver a premium experience indoors. The common indoor spaces also became overcrowded very quickly due to the rain, with limited seating and little sense of atmosphere or hospitality. Service throughout the stay felt inconsistent and surprisingly indifferent. Staff were polite enough, but there was very little warmth or attentiveness that made us feel genuinely welcomed or cared for. What is most disappointing is that the hotel clearly has enormous potential. The setting and design are stunning, and on a sunny day perhaps the experience feels entirely different. But luxury hospitality cannot rely solely on aesthetics and good weather. Ultimately, despite the beautiful surroundings and impressive design, the stay felt mediocre at best and fell far short of the exceptional experience we had been led to expect.”
