Rarely. Sykes discounts selected properties directly in its seasonal sales (up to 40% on selected December breaks, up to 30% on October half term at the time of checking) and gives instant discounts through Bloom, its free app-only rewards scheme. There is no public code to type at checkout; if one appears on the official site we add it here with its source and date.

When you book, you can choose the low-deposit option and pay £20 now. The rest of the standard deposit is due by a date Sykes shows you before you book and repeats in your confirmation, and a small fee for the option is charged on that date. The balance follows on the normal balance date. The option is not available on Forest Holidays properties.

Bloom is the rewards scheme inside the Sykes app. It is free to join and, according to Sykes, gives access to instant discounts, perks and prizes, including up to £25 off a booking. The scheme is app-exclusive, so you need the Sykes app to use it.

Two listings: special-offer cottages (selected properties at discounted rates, filterable by location, dates and property type) and last-minute cottages for departures in the coming weeks. The discount is shown on each property, and the seasonal sales apply to selected 3- or 7-night breaks.

Cancellation terms depend on the property and the booking conditions shown before you pay; read them on the property page and in your confirmation. Low-deposit bookings follow the same booking conditions with the deposit paid in two parts.
