Rural Retreats Discount Codes & Deals
Rural Retreats is a UK-wide agency for upmarket self-catering holiday homes, with over 800 hand-picked properties from thatched cottages and converted barns to listed houses and a former lighthouse keeper's cottage, spread across England, Scotland and Wales from Cornwall and Dorset to the Cotswolds, the Lake District, Northumberland, Pembrokeshire and Perthshire; more than 450 of them take dogs. The agency does not use checkout voucher codes. Savings come through its property special offers: low-occupancy discounts for small parties in larger houses, four nights for the price of three, two-night weekend breaks with late departure and last-minute short breaks of two or three nights. Below are the current offers with conditions and the date we last read them on ruralretreats.co.uk.

How to save with Rural Retreats without a discount code▼
- Check the Low Occupancy Discounts page if you are a small party. Larger houses booked for fewer guests are where Rural Retreats' biggest reductions sit, especially outside school holidays.
- Look for four nights for the price of three. The offer is property-specific and mostly midweek; filter the Special offers listing by your dates.
- Consider a two-night weekend with late departure. Selected properties let you leave later on the Sunday, which makes a short break feel longer without an extra night.
- Use late availability for spontaneous trips. Properties still free for two or three nights in the coming weeks are collected on one page; compare the price with the standard rate.
- Book direct. Rural Retreats states that booking directly gives its best available price; compare the same property on other platforms before you commit.
- Join the weekly e-newsletter and use gift vouchers. Offers are announced in the newsletter first, and gift vouchers of £25, £50 and £100 are valid for 24 months.
How we assess the Rural Retreats offers▼
Official offer means the offer is published on ruralretreats.co.uk and we read its wording there on the date shown against each line. We quote amounts only as Rural Retreats states them and add no prices of our own. Because the property listings behind the offers load dynamically, we verify the offer names and conditions on the site's own pages rather than on individual properties. Codes from third-party coupon sites are checked for source and validity before publication; an offer Rural Retreats withdraws is removed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Rural Retreats discount code?▼
No. Rural Retreats does not publish promotional codes on its own site, and prices are set per property. The discounts you can actually use are the property special offers listed on ruralretreats.co.uk: low-occupancy discounts, four nights for the price of three and two-night weekend breaks with late departure, plus the last-minute short breaks collected on the Late availability page. If a real code appears on the site we will add it here with its source and date.
What is a low-occupancy discount?▼
A reduced price for booking a larger house with fewer guests than it sleeps, which is how Rural Retreats fills big properties outside peak weeks. The participating homes and the size of the reduction vary by property and date, so use the Low Occupancy Discounts page with your dates and party size rather than assuming a fixed percentage.
How does four nights for the price of three work?▼
On participating properties you stay four nights and pay for three, typically on midweek or off-season dates. Rural Retreats lists the offer under Property Special Offers; the homes taking part change, so check the Special offers listing for your dates.
Are last-minute short breaks cheaper?▼
The Late availability page gathers properties still free for two- or three-night stays in the coming weeks. Rural Retreats does not promise a fixed discount on them, so compare the price shown with the property's normal rate; shorter stays outside school holidays are where the gaps tend to show.
Is there a welcome discount for the e-newsletter?▼
No. The weekly e-newsletter carries information on special offers and promotions, new properties and competitions, with no advertised sign-up discount. It is the first place new offers are announced, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Are there guest rewards during the stay?▼
Rural Retreats runs a guest-rewards scheme with local businesses, with vouchers emailed a week before arrival, but on the date of our check the rewards page said there were no rewards available at the moment. We will update this page when the scheme has live partners again.
