How to get the most out of a Kiwitaxi booking▼
- Book ahead and lock the price. Once you have booked, the price does not change, however far away the transfer is.
- Enter your flight details. The airport price already includes 90 minutes of waiting after your scheduled arrival, and the driver adjusts for delays under 30 minutes.
- Pick the right car class. The free cancellation deadline is 16 hours for Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax and Minibus 7 pax, and 24 hours for the larger and premium classes.
- Add child seats when you book. They cost extra, but without them the driver may refuse the transfer.
- Change plans in your account. You can change a booking yourself up to 24 hours before the trip; later changes go through support and may be declined.

At airports, the price includes 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting time after your scheduled arrival time. For pick-ups at a hotel, it includes 15 minutes from the time given in your booking. If your flight is delayed by less than 30 minutes, the driver adjusts their arrival; for longer delays, Kiwitaxi asks you to call the driver on the number you were given, and the driver may charge extra for additional waiting.
Can I cancel a Kiwitaxi transfer for free?▼
Yes, within the deadlines. You get a full refund if you cancel up to 16 hours before the transfer for Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax and Minibus 7 pax cars, and up to 24 hours before for Business, SUV, Luxury SUV, Premium and the larger minibuses. Later cancellations are not refunded, and that includes the prepayment. Refunds reach your account within 5 to 7 banking days.
Are child seats free with Kiwitaxi?▼
No. Kiwitaxi charges extra for child seats. You choose the type of seat when you enter your booking details, and Kiwitaxi guarantees a car with the right number of seats. If you do not book one, the driver has the right to refuse the transfer.
